Lauren_Mallory Wow, am I the only one who finds this picture to be disturbing? I know it's selling a product and that it may attract more men, but this kind of advertisement is dangerous. Some girls may look at that, want to look like the woman in it, and possibly develop an eating disorder. And you can just tell that that woman's body proportions are nearly unattainable without serious plastic surgery. It's almost sickening.

pandawinx @Lauren_mallory, i don't think it necessarily equate to a eating dissorder ALL BY ITSELF. There are always other factors involved, and no-one looks at one ad and suddenly develops bulimia. It could and probably does make people feel insecure though, and many adverts like this COULD be the roots of a eating dissorder, but developing such illnesses are usually subliminal, and not a conscious decision as such. I can definately understand your concern, though.

CrazyCatLady Every women should look they way they were born to look,which means thin,medium,or plus size,we are all built different,however our DNA ment for us to look is how we should look! the fake image put out by the media is unhealthy and abnormal,because it can not be achived with out starving,taking drugs,or having surgery.little girls,teens,and young women should be told that they do not need to have surgery on there face or body or have breast implants or starve there self or take drugs in order to be considered attractive! in my opinion if some one cant love you the way you are then they are not able to realy ever love anyone.if you have to be some one other then your self for them to love you,then they dont realy love YOU!,do they?

HarbingerOfFury This is not all about appearance, people. You need to learn to THINK about things. Eating candy bars can lead to weight gain (obviously) and problems with your body. Looking less attractive is the least of your worries. Stop thinking that you can be healthy when you are heavy. I know that I'm not.
