Okay, I always (or when I remember...or did) put "upped the colours" at the end of my 게시됨 photographs when I post them so people understand. But then I thought to myself just then "maybe people don't really understand what I mean when I say it" so I thought that I'd explain it and also how I feel about colour alterations. Some people believe changing the colour is often 사진 manipulation so thought I'd share my view.
Now when I say "upped the colours", what I mean is I used one of my 사진 actions (the one I 게시됨 in the 아이콘 tutorial I made not long ago). This mainly makes the 아이콘 a lot brighter and how I would want it to look if I had a fancy camera with fancy lenses...buuuuttt I don't so I have to do all this in Photoshop instead.
Personally I don't find it as a 사진 manipulation, it's still the same photo, it's not a huge extreme of the before and after but it creates a great impact of the effect of how the 사진 looks in the end. It shows the atmosphere, the detailing, everything I can see in person but not when it gets to my computer screen properly. To me 사진 manip. is mainly altering the 사진 greatly, changing huge things so it can barely be recognised.
This is an example of me "upping the colours". The first one is a nice photo, but too dark to experience the type of 일 it truly was when I took that photo. When I took the series of 테니스 court photos, up there was the sunniest place, heaps of sun, heaps of sky, whole bunch of 정크 everywhere but it was a bright, clear area to take photos. I hope it is now 더 많이 understood what "upping the colours" means in case people didn't understand :)
