Where do I ask my question?

This 기사 attempts to distinguish what sorts of 질문 should be 게시됨 with the different "question" features on Fanpop, and was last edited on 31 March 2009.

Now that 팬팝 has added another "Ooh! Ooh! I get to ask a question!" feature, the 질문 "What is the difference between all these features?" is even 더 많이 appropriate than ever before. One can ask a 질문 in a Forum, in a Quiz, in a Pick, 또는 in an Answer (Request). Which one should be used for a given question?

Ratings!!

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one 별, 스타 CONSTANTLY. People have complained in 포럼 on 더 많이 than one occasion, no 팬 would rate something one 별, 스타 if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One 나무, 트리 언덕, 힐 spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one 별, 스타 and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various 링그 to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, 또는 their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, 또는 even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

On some clubs this is not a problem. However in 더 많이 active spots people tend to check mark the box so people will view their pick more. It is VERY stupid there is three types of picks spoiler, not spoiler, and ones that need to be marked spoiler. I shall now give some examples of each.

I'm not leaving, munchkins..I know 당신 are slightly disappointed now and were waiting for some eDrama (or happy to see me FINALLY desert the pop to live on my farm full time and stop clogging your "answers") but it's just boring old me sharing my thoughts on reporting. Forgive me..it's Sunday..and I had the time.
I sometimes stumble across obvious spam (yes, I'm talking aboot 당신 chinese shoe and handbag sellers!) on this site that has been there for months and I wonder why it was never removed. I also see 퀴즈 where people have been informed of a mistake and yet months later the wrong quiz...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where 당신 were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. Yep, they do!

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick 또는 writes a 코멘트 it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean 코멘트 about how either their 질문 is stupid 또는 even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we 가입하기 spots and make picks is because...

STOP STEALING!

This was originally 게시됨 in the One 나무, 트리 언덕, 힐 spot but a user asked that it be 게시됨 here as well. I post a lot of things to Fanpop, especially images. Something that in my opinion is very important, is giving credit where it is due. If 당신 find something on the web and want to share it, then feel free to post it. However, it is extremely disrespectful to claim that 당신 created that content if 당신 didn`t 또는 simply not bother to credit.

Lately I`ve been coming across a lot of 이미지 of say a celebrity where the user who uploaded the picture, gives themselves credit. It is certainly possible...

Since I've been 읽기 so many 기사 about the levels of 팬팝 users, and because this 월 is my one 년 anniversary of being on Fanpop, I've decided to set a list of goals in the upcoming 년 of Fanpop. 당신 know, like New Years Resolutions, only a 월 earlier.
