I did like the dub at first, considering I watch all other animes in English, but too many characters are poorly excecuted.

I may be beings biased since she's my favourite character but I utterly depspise how the dub portrays Juvia. Her third person and honourifics are removed and her dialogue altered to be completely different. The dub and sub Juvias come across as completely different character and the former is highly dislikable when compared to sub (aka, True Juvia) Juvia. Everyone else is portrayed and translated loyally yet Juvia is presented badly. Did the script editor have a problem with her?

Plus, Gray's voice actor truly has become flat now. He once did a great job and was a perfect fit but he really isn't trying anymore. And when alongside Colleen Clinkenbeard, Todd Haberkon and Brittany Karbowski, he sounds even worse. A dreadful portrayal of a great character.

Other than that everyone in the dub did a great job! But importer the sub since everyone is portrayed accurately and loyally to the manga.

Of all those in the dub, Natsu, Erza, Lucy and Gajeel are the most well voiced.
