Carly Smithson, American Idol season seven alum, has formed a new band—but not with just any rockers. Smithson will be joining ex-Evanescence members Ben Moody, Rocky Gray, John Lecompt as well as Marty O’Brian to create The Fallen. Notably missing from the group? 에반에센스 lead singer Amy Lee.

에반에센스 has always been one of my 가장 좋아하는 bands. Amy Lee is truly inspiring and is a wonderful role model for people to have. Although, many people disagree because of the dark meaning in her lyrics. To understand the true meaning of her lyrics 당신 have to look deeper into the song meaning. For example, in the 음악 video everybody's fool people see it as a depressed women who isn't happy. Its finally happening!
I want 당신 to understand how badly we have wanted to get back into the studio for a full 년 now. We have been working endlessly and digging so deep, determined to make that happen, and we’ve finally succeeded. With the right producer and the whole band working together as a tight team. Now the album is going to be even better than it would have been had it come out last year, like we originally planned. I know how long you’ve been waiting, trust me. It’s taken some real blood, sweat and tears to get here, and last week when we got the green light we were DEFINITELY celebrating. This is the real thing. The album will be out this fall. 2011 IS OUR YEAR!

(and no, it’s not a ‘techno’ album. Its an Ev album, and it rocks hard.)

Evanescence's return (Follow up)

On the 8th of November 2009. Over 40'000 screaming 팬 of rock. Gathered to the Maquinaria Festival, In Sao Paulo Brazil, For a one time performance 의해 hard rock band, Evanescence. At 9:30pm The band kicked off their performance with a short intro, leading into a powerful 'Going under', and ending the show with 'Your star'.
Despite The bad weather, 팬 feel good about attending, saying it was "Amazing" and "Epic". One 팬 even stated it was a "Great show, much beter with the rain.".
