“Oh, I’m sorry Mike. Edward asked me to go out with him this weekend.” I said, smiling vindictively. I knew I was being rude, but really, how many times did I need to say no?
“Oh...well, okay then. 당신 and Cullen huh?” his face turned to a grimace but I could see some malice in his eyes. I hoped he didn’t try anything, he might get hurt.
“Yeah.” I answered, smiling like a girl on her first date. “I’m really looking 앞으로 to it.”
With that, I turned on my heel and left.

The biggest roll of thunder yet sounded over us just as we entered the Cullen house. It was right over us 의해 now making the sky outside black like the night.

I followed Alice into the Lounge only to find Emmett and Jasper locked in a fight...

After who knows how long, I pulled away from him, breathing harder than usual. His eyes were alight with desire, his breathing accelerated just like mine. “I 사랑 you, Bella.”
I smiled with joy. “I 사랑 당신 too, Edward.” I said happily.
The rain was falling harder outside now, the light thrumming reminding me there was a world beyond our own little bubble.
Edward’s eyes were still smouldering as I ran my middle finger down his face, a low growl coming from his chest.
My smile grew bigger as I gave him a chaste 키스 and then proceeded to quickly to detangle myself from his embrace,...

Edward's POV
She flicked her hair back from her shoulder, an adorable expression playing on her face.
I wanted to feel her warm soft lips on mine again, but there were too many watching eyes. Damn children. Almost all of them were whispering, the gossip already spreading. If only they knew.
We walked into the small, badly lit front office together. The middle aged receptionist thought what a nice couple we would make. I couldn’t help but smile at her kindness.

“Maybe that’s why Edward can’t hear you.” Carlisle mused, his eyes alight with excitement. “Like some kind of shield.” He started talking with Jasper and Alice about this new possibility while Emmett and Rosalie made out on the 침상, 소파 across the room.
“We’ll have to come up with an excuse as to why 당신 guys aren’t at school...” Esme started, but tactfully moved away when she realised that Edward and I were not really paying attention.
