odd-duck You forget that Edward didn't truly want to leave her but he thought it would keep her safe, the same reason he pulled out of their kisses- he is concerned about her safety. Her safety is more important to him than getting laid!

junglexbooty well everyone reads into these things differently. obviously he left because he THOUGHT she would be safe. when she started taking life risks to hear him it was so she couldn't forget who she truly loved. At the end she finds love in Jacob more the a friend, but she couldn't just leave Edward. yes she loved Jacob but couldn't see herself with him. she saw herself with Edward from the moment they met. Edward continued to pull out of their kisses because if he lost control he could SERIOUSLY hurt her. just like in bd the first time they has sex she was covered in bruises, and he said"so tell me the truth, how bad did i hurt you" it wasnt until she saw what he was talking about that she even noticed the pain.

Starwarschick18 I agree:) Bella's WHOLE life is Edward & when she lost him she herself was lost and incomplelete. She wouldn't be whole again until she had him back in her life. When she finds out she can make herself "hear" Edward she goes 2 desperate lengths 2 do so because she needs him in her life :)When Edward does come back she is whole and content again. gwen5890 i reallly agree with you all because first of all when edward was fighting with the vortile trying to save bella she told them before they kill him she said:no no please!don't kill him kill me!kill me!but actuallly they really should of kill her because she was acting kind of stupid. but i undertsand that she was trying to save edward even doe he left her.also at the end of the movie jake remind edward about the treaty also if they should a bites a human the treaty will be over and bella is also acting dumb again because she said;wonder if i became a vampire and it doesn't have nothing to do with you and jake trys to example to her if she became a vampire they what they are giong have to do with her and when edwrad trys to tell to leave she saids wait so she goes over to jake and said;i love you jake so please don't me me chose because it will be him it always will be him it always haves. i think on at part she was liking jake more then edward because when edward because she fall in love with jake when edward was gone but when jake left after the big fight they had she didn't know what to do and i really felt bad for jake because bella left him with a broken heart also i think she was about to cry when jake left because she had to save edward i know at love but jake loved her more and i know she love him and at how love should be.but not with edward.
