Why did Duncan even go out with Gwen in the first place ?

Duncan and Gwen started dating officially I think in The Ex Files. Duncan liked Gwen a lot, and ended up 키싱 her in episode thirteen. I guess Duncan either wanted to pay Courney back, 또는 he really liked Gwen. So it was a combination of both.
