In order for a crossover to work both shows have to exist in the same universe thats why the Torchwood and Sarah Jane crossover in Journeys End worked. I would be cool if they had the Doctor meet Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and he was played by Cumberbatch or a Space Western episode with tons of Firefly references but that just might make my geeky heart explode. <3
