Does it bother anybody else that the TARDIS opens the wrong way?

if u noticed in season 1 ep empty child the telephone pulls open not the doors? and nope never even noticed it

That pull to open was for the phone in the original police box. If 당신 look closely, there are two hinges on the side of that square. Hinges are always on side it pulls from. The Tardis doors do not have hinges. :) Except on the inside.

If 당신 watch "The Doctor's Wife", Idris berates him for this. The Doctor's response: "I think I have earned the right to open my front doors any way I want."

I thought that only meant where the phone would be if it were a real police box.

It's because 당신 have to pull to open the telephone part to call. It's not to get inside the tardis

I don't mind how the doors open besides he's an alien and she's his spaceship like either of them was going to get it accurate on how the doors from a human invention were supposed to open? :)

The 'Pull to Open' is refering to the small telephone hatch that the sign is on.

it says pull to open but it says that on the door that the phone is on. there for it is not the tardis door that opens out word but the door that lets 당신 use the phone.
