Pets make our lives worth living … along with friendship, love, creativity, and some other random things. But we’re here today to talk about pets.
Disney characters love and cherish their pets in ways that make us squeal at high volumes and higher pitches. We decided to do an entirely subjective and unscientific ranking of Disney pets in celebration of all the cuddles and good times. Let the fun begin:
+1 point for being a cunning little sneak. -10,000 points for making consistent and unapologetic attempts on Gus and Jaq\'s lives, thwarting Cinderella\'s plans at every turn, and heartlessly framing Bruno.
We\'re fine with admitting that Diablo is a highly competent henchbird, but the fact that he directs all his energy towards the propagation of all evil gets him ranked low on our list.
We love this cranky capuchin in our own way, but let\'s be real ... he has a seriously rotten temper. We\'d trade him for a jar of dirt any day and be 10,000% convinced we\'d gotten the better end of the deal.
Percy is spoiled, but only because he knows he deserves it. We wish that we too could have a carousel of treats, consistent bubble baths, and a butler called Wiggins.
You\'ve got good comebacks, Iago, we\'ll give you that. But have you ever thought about chilling out? Maybe you should chill out.
Complete and utter spaz? Yes. Cuddliest, most adorably efficient method of doing chores? YES.
We all need a rotund little hairy baby in our lives.
Look at how properly she sits and listens to Alice talk nonsense. Have you ever seen a more dignified kitten in your life?
Rhino\'s notable traits include his hyperactivity, clumsiness, and extreme fandom.
Such a stylish tuxedo for so playful a kitty! The story might be about Pinocchio, but Figaro certainly steals a scene or two.
A ghost pup with a tiny jack-o\'-lantern nose: what\'s not to love? Zero stole our hearts from our very first viewing of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and he\'s been guarding them loyally ever since.
We adore this tiny pup who wants what we all want: emotional fulfillment and food.
A perfect couple like Roger and Anita requires an equally perfect couple of canines.
Show us one other monkey that can pull off a fez so effortlessly. One. That\'s all we ask.
Reindeers are better than people, and that\'s just a fact.
Somehow, Jasmine domesticated a tiger, and that tiger is a pretty great judge of character.
This dog raises children. She also has impeccable balance.
If Phillipe hadn\'t found Belle after the Beast invited Maurice to never leave the castle for the rest of his life, Belle might never have found him. That is some horse sense.
A ginger kitty cat who\'s loyal to the end? Sign us up.
His badness levels might be high, but \'ohana means family, and family is best when it involves Stitch.
Here are the facts: Pegasus is mythical, he and Hercules have been best buds since birth, he\'s a reliable and stylish mode of transportation, and he has the best reactions of all time.
Pascal gets high marks because he says what we\'re all thinking without ever using words, stays loyal to Rapunzel through thick and thin, and is a bona fide master of stealth. He also looks great in a tiny dress.
We\'ve known some pretty darn lovable Disney pets in our time, but none so heart-wrenchingly good as Dug. Just looking at this picture makes us want to cry.
Loyal to the core, Pluto is the definition of a mouse\'s best friend.
