Chapter 10- Meeting of the Parents

    That night, Lady and Tramp continued to look hard for Scamp and Angel, unaware that they were so close to finding them prior that evening. “Oh, I just hope they’re all right,” Lady sadly cried. “It’s my fault that they’re all gone. I shouldn’t have been so moody.”
    “Aww Pidge, 당신 didn’t do any harm,” Tramp comforted her. “Now why don’t we just settle down for the night? A bit of rest could do us some good. Then we can continue looking tomorrow,” Tramp stated consolingly.
    “I guess,” Lady worried. “But what if… well, what if we never see them again?”
    “Pidge, 앤젤 and Scamp are tough. They’ll be fine. We just need to find them,” Tramp confidently stated.
    “You’re right,” Lady stated.
    The two of them continued to stroll on the sidewalks and soon noticed some tall hotels in the distance. “Come on Pidge, let’s go over there for a place to sleep.”
    Lady followed as Tramp swaggered down the sidewalk as the little sunlight that remained began to wane. The two 연인들 made their way to some hotel steps that were comfy and carpeted. Tramp began to sleep on them, but Lady told Tramp, “Doesn’t this place say No 개 Allowed?” 읽기 the sign.
    Tramp stated, “Yeah… but that’s only for the carpet. Come on, let’s go sleep on the grass. There’s not a rule about that, they wouldn’t have thought of that.” Tramp cleverly stated. Lady followed, and the two of them soon lovingly slept on the grass.
The 다음 morning, Lady and Tramp woke up bright and heard noises near the hotel. Lady hurriedly looked up, and saw two spotted 개 hurriedly dashing down the road.
The two of them were talking hurriedly. “They’re still asleep, Perdy… our pets would be able to take care of them just fine.”
“I’m still concerned… what if Cruella is nearby?” Perdy asked, afraid.
“Our pets are both suspicious of Cruella now,” Pongo told her. “And besides, she’s probably in Scotland Yard all the same.”
“Maybe we should stay off the main road,” Pongo advised. “In case our pets are looking for us.”
Perdy nodded, and the two of them hurried right toward the hotel where Lady and Tramp were just waking up. As they turned, Perdy caught sight of Lady and Tramp quickly as she stood face to face to the two of them, who were both looking at them. “Oh Pongo, we’ve been spotted!” she cried, alarmed.
    Pongo hurried over to Lady and Tramp. “Are 당신 two hotel dogs?”
    “No…” Lady replied. “I’m not sure if we’re supposed to be here.”
Pongo asked, “What are 당신 doing, miss?”
“We’re looking for our children,” Lady answered.
    “Really?” Perdy asked. “We are too.”
    Pongo introduced himself. “My name’s Pongo, and she’s Perdita.”
“Hello Perdita,” Tramp stated warmly. “You have a pretty name…”
But Tramp was cut off 의해 a glare from Lady, and Tramp looked carefully at her, with a bit of guilt. Luckily for Tramp, Pongo continued. “But unfortunately, we’ve 로스트 three of our children on a walk. We have no idea why… just Perdy disciplined the kids a bit and we had a bit of a rough ride getting here. We’re British, 의해 the way.”

    “Tramp!” Lady cried, alarmed.
    “Sorry, Pidge,” he stated winking toward Lady. “Well, to make it short, our 강아지 ran away because they were bored…”
    “And 당신 forgot the other reason,” Lady wheedled.
    “Other…reason?” Tramp asked, but it his tone of voice plainly suggested that he knew exactly what Lady was talking about.
“About your past,” Lady added.
    Pongo and Perdita looked on curiously as Tramp stated, “Oh, yes, yes…but we’re not going to talk about that now. We have 강아지 to find.”
    “Let’s get out of here,” Pongo insisted. “Before our pets can spot us. Where are your pets?”
    “Far from here,” Lady replied. “But they might be coming for the show. Our three other 강아지 are supposed to enter.”
    “What are your kid’s markings?” Tramp asked.
    “They look like us,” Perdita answered.
    “Charming, well, they must look as pretty…” but Lady glared at Tramp again.
    “And yours?” Pongo asked.
    “One looks like a miniature version of my husband,” Lady told him. “The other is blonde, has tall ears and blue eyes.”
    The four of them hurried off through a park, and they hoped beyond hope that the 강아지 were there. They looked along the riverbed, but they couldn’t find any of them.
    “You didn’t see our children, before we met, did you?” Lady asked.
    “No, we were in our hotel room, and then we were too preoccupied with losing ours,” Pongo answered.
    Lady sighed understandingly. Even with Tramp with them and now two 더 많이 parents to 가입하기 the search, this was still going to be a long, hard 검색 for the four of them to undertake.
