They're going on vague ideas of what the believe small children may like (and in some cases who they want to believe small children like). This countdown is going to be very inaccurate, because if you don't hang out around little kids a lot, you're not going to go by what they like. You have to ask little kids directly for something like this. LITTLE KIDS FREAKING LOVE JASMINE. IT'S A FACT OF LIFE. I loved all the rest, and Pocahontas was one of my favorites(even as a kid)! but I could see how she is too "serious" for little kids... In Finnish Princess magazine children had an opportunity to vote for their favorite Disney princess and Aurora actually won. But just because Aurora won in Finland doesn't mean that she would have won in other countries.
