It's common knowledge that Belle is the favorite on this site and cosidering she's won about every other poll on this subject while Ariel has been hanging on by a thread it's going to look real funny if Ariel beats her out. 	Mongoose09 picked Ariel: KataraLover, the opinions of people worldwide are different to the opinions of people on Fanpop. The people on fanpop generally like Belle the most. On Disney Wiki, its worldwide, not fanpop so the opinion will be different. I've noticed that hardly anyone on fanpop likes Cinderella. Yet worldwide, she is extremely well liked so you cant compare fanpop with the rest of the world. posted over a year ago.

The opinions on fanpop are close and mostly the same. Most people on fanpop love Belle and Ariel. Most people hate Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella. The reason for my love of Ariel lies in her spunk and adventurousness. You can't help but root for her when she's going after something she wants so much. She's willing to leave everything she's ever known for the love of her life. Though sadly it doesn't seem like she has any problem leaving her father and her people which seems a bit selfish and that's where Belle gets her edge on this.... Wanting adventure but not giving up the ones she loves for it. She's willing to become a prisoner and lose the one thing she's ever wanted to protect her father. She's strong and independent without coming off as sassy and suborn. She's loyal and caring without coming off as simpering and weak. She's open minded and not affected by the views of others, and as a result, is willing to look into the heart of a Beast to find her prince.
