Gothel uses Rapunzel for her hair, but she compliments her, calls her pretty, and I think she cares, somewhere in there. The king and queen of arandelle are heartless monsters. posted over a year ago.

	misscindyspice picked Mother Gothel: Seriously? People are picking Anna and Elsa's parents over abusers? (Tremaine, Grimhilde, Gothel) I get it, they were bad parents, but Mother Gothel broke down Rapunzel's self esteem and made her feel like she was to blame for everything going wrong("I hate leaving you after a fight, especially when I've done nothing wrong!) whilst pretending to be a caring mother. She had no feelings for her, and every compliment or pet name she gives her is directed towards her hair (kissing her hair instead of her forhead, when saying "to keep you safe and sound, dear", she's caressing her hair and basically speaking to it; calling Rapunzel 'flower') Sorry for the rant :3 posted over a year ago.
