Snow White was the fairest because of her innocence and by fairest, they could also mean the skin color. Snow White's is as white as snow so it is the fairest. I think Evil Queen's vanity is interesting so... And Gaston's is interesting too, you'd figure the Bimbettes are more his type but he is determined to marry the most beautiful girl in town who rejects him repeatedly.
