it would so sweet why animated character have to be perfect it would give a great message to the little kids and oh i love the episode where Ariel sings and Gabriela sings with her sign launguage it proves that you don't have to let something let you down and you have to be strong! link:link
Yes, please! I have cerebral palsy, so it would be awesome to see a DP having to overcome the struggles that I did. I want a DP I can really connect to, and this is one awesome way to do it.
Sure, I guess. I find Gabriela interesting because she speaks another language and sign language always fascinated me. And the blind learn to read Braille and that's like a code so I think that's cool too.
Don't get me wrong, I love the character of Gabriela and I think the story of why they created her in the show is sweet (Idk if it is 100% true though). But for me the whole thing about "I want a princess to be fat/to come from this country/to have this" to be...Idk, then Disney would be focusing that more then the actual story. Like I think they did in PATF.
But I wouldn't hate Disney if they made a princess with a disability. As long as it would seem natural to have in the movie.
I think it would be a good idea if they made one. As they make princesses too perfect, children sometimes grew with the perspective that if you don't have a disability you're okay and if you have one you're not and you shouldn't be near them (or they treat that person with disrespect).
A princess with one would show them that there's no such thing as perfection and even with a disability you're as equal as everybody. I also agree with blablablu95.
