I feel like they are pretty equal in terms of popularity, but I see more open criticism towards Belle. Most users at least respect Cinderella, but Belle is often viewed as "snobbish" or "condescending."

^i agree. Cinderella on Fanpop is much more respected and admired while Belle has been often more criticized. Sure, she's got her fans but criticism also has been constantly growing and we see more and more people having her low on her list.

As I said before she is more respected by peoples rather than being loved or hated. Belle have some haters, but she still have a lot of fans.

She doesn't get the same attention that Belle does, that's for sure. Belle, despite criticism, ends up at the top of most user's favorite lists on Fanpop. As I've said before, Belle is usually #1, #2, #3 or #4 on people's Favorite lists on Fanpop. Only a couple of people (myself and Ace2000) have Belle at #10 or #11. That's two people out of what, more than 76 Fanpop users? Belle is hardly stuck at the bottom on Fanpop. Contrast this, with seeing only a couple of people, including myself, having Cinderella in their top 5, and only one or two people having Cinderella as their top Disney Princess overall. Owleyes and hatelarxene are the only users I know of, who list Cinderella as their top DP. But at least 12 or more users list Belle in their top five, and of that number, at least 5 users have Belle as their top princess.

My point is that Cinderella is definitely less popular than Belle is around Fanpop.

Definitely! World wide she is pretty popular but on Fanpop Belle has much more fans.

Agreed with those that said she's popular worldwide but not as much on Fanpop.
