wavesurf picked Completely. She should always show respect.:
People who don't show respect to others make me irritated. If being a disgruntled person who shows no respect to others is an intrinsic part of a princess's personality--- then I really don't like her much. Even if she receives no respect from people, she should still respect them. That's the Golden Rule. This is why I really dislike Tiana and Elsa, and Merida ( to an extent).

though in her defense I don't think Tiana means to be disrespectful most of the time (not to Merida's extent anyway, which was very much on purpose to several people when done at the archery contest). She's just so narrow minded it's like she CAN'T comprehend that other hobbies, lifestyles, etc. are as acceptable as hers is. which is why, while touching, her and Lottie's friendship is kind of hard for me to understand, aside from how common it is for people with opposite personalities to get along fine if they grew up together, because then they don't really notice the other's opposing qualities enough to clash.

I agree with wavesurf & AudreyFreak. I think respect should always be the aim. That being said, I don't really hold it against Snow White to have disrespected the Dwarfs by trespassing and entering their home while they were gone because she was frightened, alone and running for her life. I think in an extreme situation like that, there can be some leniency with full respect but otherwise I think full respect should be the aim. I know her intent was not to be disrespectful at all.

I have realized that if someone doesn't respect me, being disrespectful to them doesn't resolve anything at all. So right now I'm hooked to this coz I'm often charged up to let the person who disrespects me to put them in their rightful place which is just petty i know, but yes, it takes a lot of courage to be polite and respectful to mean/rude/disrepectful people in return. I would actually like to pick Completely option here, coz honestly, other person doesn;t change when I;m disrespectful to them so I might as well save my own dignity.
Its like fighting with a pig in mud, the dirtier it gets, more they like it and I end being dirty too which was never the intent in first place.

Or "A little. She should respect everyone unless they disrespect her."

Definetely not "a lot" or "completely" option.

Generally speaking, I don't need DP be unconditionally nice but I definetely prefer a DP who is more often nice than not. Said also applies to outspokeness, politeness etc.
