Not really. I don't see it.
I guess she calls the people in her town "little people", but she seems to be friendly to them, even though they talk about her behind her back.
Maybe someone can convince me to change my mind?

Not at all! She's just an introverted loner who doesn't fit in. If anything, it's the town who are snobs. They mock Belle because she's different and goes against the norms of their lives. Yeah, a beautiful girl who likes to read, is smart, dares to be different, and doesn't like arrogant jerks like Gaston really deserves to be mocked (NOT)! Belle is far from a snob. Besides, she's friendly to people and even tries to be polite to Gaston when he's rude to her. She even stopped to have a conversation with The Baker, who rudely just stopped listening and acting like a snob.

She wants to connect with people, not gossip about them behind their backs or give a really quick "good morning" before going back to work.

The Baker was more invested in his work, how can you call that "a snob"?

"Little people"... Besides her irony against Gaston "I don't deserve you" before he even did anything evil to her

Um. I think Belle isn't perfect, and has flaws like-- *GASP*--- Ariel.

I agree with KataraLover. And @scarletunicorn, I think because of the way he said "that's nice" and didn't bother to listen to Belle at all. He at least could've listened to her while making the baguettes or something. It wasn't difficult work that required much concentration.

I like how the villagers who are busy with their lives are snobby for not sharing Belle's interest but Belle herself isn't supposed to be snobby for looking down on them for not reading. And it wouldn't be a bad flaw at all, but the movie doesn't actually portray it as one.

and yeah, people seem to forget that just because Gaston is ignorant doesn't mean he actually ever did anything to her.

I think taking her book and throwing it into the mud is "something". Nevermind practically grabbing her in order to get her to spend time with him. And that's just in the first scene they share.
Belle just says it as it is. It is not like she is unfriendly to anyone, or that she doesn't try to talk to people about books when they (seemingly) show interest. And she is not the one calling other people names.
