Some love her, plenty hate her, but- like Jasmine- she isn't a polarizing enough character the way Ariel and Snow White are, to garner enough attention to be very popular or unpopular. However, she's possibly the most easy to market to little girls- long blonde brushable hair, gorgeous, dainty, cute prince, cute animals, pink dress, tiara. with older crowds, they tend to not remember her, much less understand her. when she does get remembered it's usually to hate on her and accuse her of having no personality (because you know, not fitting into the current ideal of how society prefers heroines = no personality), but thankfully here, at least, and a few places on tumblr, she has finally gotten a bit of the love she deserves.
