Eric is Charming 2.0. I dislike both. But Eric gets a lot of hype I don't think he really deserves (he's nice and brave, yes, but I think people like him mostly because he's Ariel's boyfriend).

The Prince, no personality? Yeah, being dedicated to searching for snow (if he didn't know who she was, that's even more incredible), a man who isn't afraid to cry (unlike most... even in front of other men), has a sense of humor, apologizes for scaring her, is overwhelmingly happy when she's alive again. sounds like a personality to me. he doesn't have to be on screen as much as her to have one. Eric has lots of screen time and is still a Gary Stu.

When did the Prince cry? He just bowed down his head dafter he kissed her. And when did he ever show that he had a sense of humour? He sung to her, woke her up with a kiss, and happily ever after.

Either way, he is still a plot device with the smallest personality than the other princes, and I ain't changing

At least Prince attempts to find Snow White. Charming is boring, rude to every woman at the party (except Cinderella), and doesn't even go to find her himself. He has to send someone else. I don't dislike him but he is obviously the worst prince.

He and Charming are very low on my list but Smith is my least. My reason is that he didn´t even tried to fight for Pocahontas.

I don't like Charming either but come on people he really doesn't do anything.

He doesn't do anything for Pocahontas and he changes her completely. She babysits him, they've got lus tin first sight- which is the entire reason he didn't shoot her. He says that all the other natives except for her are something like a savage. He's just such a biased person when it comes to attractiveness it KILLS me! He irritates me so much. Maybe he liked her for the right reasons a bit after, but he didn't think about love seriously at ALL. And that, is my rant ladies and gentlemen. Though P.C (Charming) is a bit bland and stiff, he's got good intentions atleast. Same with Prince, after all- ALL men were romantics for every lady's dream guy back then. Think about it, singing, chasing, and all the drama. Makes perfect sense up here. (Points the tip of my pencil to my head)

^ He did not change Pocahontas. She was curious before she met him, and was curious by him, so she spied and talked to him. She wasn't jumping cliffs after she met him because there was tension between the two groups and a at was approaching; there were more important things to worry about. She never had a worry like that in her life beforehand. I do agree about the lust at first sight thing though, but t is not like he was the first one to talk to his lover because of her looks (Charming, Eric, Aladdin, Naveen (when they were both human in the beginning) and Phillip continued to talk to her because of his looks). I think they learn to care for one another after "Colours of the Wind" and after she introduces him to Grandmother Willow, but they are definitely not in love. He initially wants to stay with her, but she says he has to go back, and he offers her to come with him, but she says her people needs her, so he did try. People get mad a him, but praise the other princes for doing the exact same thing

It used to be Charming, but I've grown to love him more (think it has to do with the sequels and the fact that I love the golden age movies). I do like Shang. I think she's bave, corageous and works very hard to achieve his goals. I just like the others better, and it kind of bothered me when he didn't believe Mulan about the Huns. I mean, I know she pretended to be a man, but does he really think she would make up something like that?

SOOOOO regal! And I agree with alexon31 about Shang not believing Mulan about the Huns. I guess he was still too angry her.

I have no problem with him, just I don't really care for him. He is just a boring prince in a boring movie nothing special. He isn't really memorable for me.

John Smith didn't do anything for Pocahontas? Yeah, he just saved her father from the death...
And he wanted to stay with her not caring about his injury at the end.

I really don't like him. He is a first class a-hole for most of the movie, and his sudden change made no sense at all. And all the whining about being too spoilt. The idiot speaks a couple of languages, I'm sure there is something he can do.

Basically I like the sequel Charming so much that it prevents me from voting for him. On the other hand, I really don't care for Shang: I admire him because he's a good leader, but I really don't like how he doesn't trust Mulan when the Huns were coming. Why would she lie about that?

Well I don't know much about him and based on what I know he's far from what I like. Maybe he's just too unrealistic for me. Sweet but unrealistic.

He didn't anything for her princess! He just said "Wait" when she run away and he let the hard work to other people!

Poor guy, it's a shame he didn't have more screen time. If the deleted scene of him being after a deer only to turn out that they were friends was in the film, he'd be a cutie!

Anyway, I still don't understand where all the hatred for John Smith comes from. He may not be the perfect guy at the beginning of the movie (although he still is brave and risks his life for his comrades), but after meeting Pocahontas he changes his attitude about nature and the native Americans and he ends up acting more bravely than most of the princes.

Annoying, annoying and... oh yeah, annoying.
