Quick Cree language lesson:

If you want to try to pronounce these yourself, lemme give you a quick lesson... Out of all the letters of the alphabet, the cree language has 17 of them. The rest are nonexistant... (like Q, L, and J.)

P's are pronounced like a mix of P and B... C's are pronounced like c in Police but a much harder ending...like in tch~
there is no short "A" only pronounced "ah" like a quick long "a" sound. when you see a "â" then it i a normal long A. and when you see an " î " it is pronounced like the letter E. (ee) When there is an " ê " it is pronounced like an " eh " but quick, lick in meh. O is not "oh" but "uh". when there is a cresent over it, when it is "oo".

My reasonings for the names:

Some words in the Cree language are nonexistant, like Jasmine, the herb... But I did my best translating each of the names by their meaning. [I got them from the article by Alafastanzio] So you can see where I'm going with this...

If you want help pronouncing the names correctly, just ask in the comments. I'll show you how. :)

Yay! You did very good! :D It's hard to read cree sometimes since it's not a written language... (only in syllabics, ou cree writing system that consists of sounds... )
