Thought this was really the perfect time for this light read considering which months I think each DP represents the best. :D I did this based on personality and my perception of how those personalities relate to the 4 seasons as well as each month. I hope 당신 guys enjoy! My apologies to non-Americans as this is heavily based on my American connotations with these months especially in regards to American holidays. Hope 당신 guys don't mind!

November: Tiana
Thanksgiving has always been my absolute 가장 좋아하는 #1 holiday! I 사랑 it because it brings people together over a great meal, just like James' (Tiana's father's) dream: for good 음식 to bring together people of all walks of life. For this reason, Tiana definitely reminds me of November. She loves to cook and bring people together which is what Thanksgiving is all about to me. I also see her as an autumn kind of girl, a bit sassy but not cold.

December: Elsa

I have always been intrigued with crossovers among 디즈니 princess couples. Although, honestly, most of these couples are for imagination and fictional enjoyment only as I tend to find 더 많이 and 더 많이 similarities between them than the original couples. I prefer original couple but sometimes i imagine different pairings as well.
Hope people won't find it awkward 또는 weird to see these pairings and would enjoy it as interesting read. Having said that, I'd 사랑 to hear your opinions of why any of these pairing is completely off and who would 당신 rather pair them with?

1. Snow – Charming

Similar traits: gentle, gracious, humble and modest, mature, naïve, kind and generous, comforting, protective in their own ways (Snow towards dwarfs and Prince towards his love), wants to be with their true love

Opposite traits:
Snow is playful and child-like innocent, Prince Charming has a matured demeanor.

Based on the latest blogs/usernames posts we've been making, I felt inspired to do this one (also inspired 의해 laylastepford's suggestion, which was pretty fun to think about).

Snow White- A young girl that likes going out to fairs and picnics. Eventually studies to be a nurse. She likes romance and homemaking activities. Everybody in the neighborhood loves her pies. Her stepmother starts abusing her some time after her father's death, but she finds comfort and help in the form of her elderly uncles and their friends.

Cinderella- Another girl abused at 집 after her father's death. She tends to find different ways to escape her house, though, 의해 finding work in small shops 또는 cafes. Helps a lot in school. Would eventually like to go to college, but she's not sure if that is possible. She likes designing, gardening and taking care of animals.

Aurora- A romantic at heart, she's often the most well dressed girl around. Raised 의해 her three aunts in in the outskirts of the city, she kinda tends to wander off on her own, but she knows how to behave herself in social situations. Loves 읽기 romance novels, and is fond of 80s 판타지 films.

Charm-the Real Feminine Mystique:
"A girl need not have perfect features nor an outstanding figure to be popular. But she should have charm. As Sir James Barrie had Maggie say in his play, What Every Woman Knows, 'If 당신 have it, 당신 don't need to have anything else; and if 당신 don't have it, it doesn't much matter what else 당신 have.'

Once 당신 have acquired charm, you'll probably never lose it. Especially after 당신 have discovered how much happier your life is because 당신 are considered to be that charming girl down the street.

To be charming 당신 need not to be any particular age, weight 또는 height 또는 have any specific coloring 또는 proportions. Charm is like an essence. It is easier to recognize it in a person than to define it, although Webster's Third New International Dictionary says that charm is 'a combination of entirely attractive and delightful traits.'

Author and scholar Havelock Ellis wrote, 'Charm is a woman's strength just as strength is a man's charm.'"

My Favorite: "When You Wish Upon A Star" Score into the Whistle as the Castle Builds Itself Magically, Ending with Walt's Signature Logo
Inspired 의해 link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with 가장 좋아하는 Openings. I actually really 사랑 the original fairy tale concept of the 디즈니 Princesses and I 사랑 the openings that give a 더 많이 magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope 당신 guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: 겨울왕국 Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation of how Elsa got powers. Gorgeous Aurora Borealis but everything else was a bit boring. Where are Kristoff's parents? Why are the iceworkers totally comfortable with a young boy and his reindeer running around without parents? What do these iceworkers have anything to do with the story other than Kristoff and Sven hanging out with them until the Trolls take them in? Confusing opening with beautiful landscapes but no...

I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, 당신 might know 더 많이 than me 또는 know less than me. Either way enjoy 읽기 and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's 셔츠 is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only 디즈니 villain to have eyes the same color as the protagonist's.

2) When Paige O'Hara was auditioning, a bit of her hair flew in her face and she tucked it back. The animators liked this so they put it in the movie.

3) In the first song, where Belle sings in the town, she sits 의해 a fountain. As she reads the book (described earlier as an adventure with a prince in disguise which sounds just like Beauty and the Beast), she flips to a page with a picture. Look closely, and 당신 will see see that she is in the bottom right, the beast in the middle...

I, myself only knew 7 out of 14. Who knows, 당신 might know 더 많이 than me 또는 know less than me. Either way enjoy 읽기 and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired 의해 its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous 재스민 속, 재 스민 wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) 재스민 속, 재 스민 was originally supposed to be a bit 더 많이 active. At one point, she was supposed to confront the Sultan and angrily declare "We have to talk", but the animators nixed it because it would have meant designing an entirely new room for that talk so were forced to fall back on showing 재스민 속, 재 스민 crying instead (which made them cringe). Also, when 재스민 속, 재 스민 was trapped in the hourglass, she was supposed to use the jewel in her 투구 to cut herself free, but this was changed to a last-minute rescue 의해 Aladdin. 재스민 속, 재 스민 was also going to be a spoiled brat who...

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.
Triton is one of those dads in 디즈니 that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t 사랑 him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and Gaston, who are also both afraid of not “looking like men” in front of women). Anyway, Triton shares the trait of “trying to look manly” with his adviser, Sebastian, since both males tend to view females as lesser individuals, and needing “constant supervision.” Triton seems to believe that in order to be a successful ruler and father “he must maintain control of the situation” at all times.
This is something that has always bothered me about him. In fact, the very first time we are introduced to Triton in the original movie, he is...

Okay so some of 당신 might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this 기사 but I still didn't want the tension 또는 drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" list without offending anyone, I didn't write that 기사 and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do 사랑 the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most fairest maiden in all of the land" and I am a bit saddened/disappointed that 디즈니 seems to somewhat be going away from that. A very talented writer/user on this site (anukriti2409) did their own link lately and it was done so beautifully that it inspired me to go ahead and give this 기사 a try. So in...

So I 사랑 Disneyland and Disneyworld and I 사랑 their Princess-themed attractions. That being said, I always thought it would be really cool if there were 더 많이 things at the park pertaining specifically to the Princesses as I am a huge fan! <3 So I thought I'd try to see if I could figure out some form of new attraction (ride, shop, restaurant, etc.) for each DP film. I hope 당신 guys enjoy!

1. Snow White's Scary Forest
I thought this would be an annual 할로윈 event. Something to get the kids ready for the scary walk throughs they will 사랑 as teenagers and young adults. :) It can even end with the eyes and the 동물 to make the ending a bit softer for children.

Rapunzel, anna, and ariel
Did 당신 ever know that Elsa and Anna had a cousin? Well 당신 do now! Elsa and Anna have a cousin and there cousin is Rapunzel. Never knew that? Now 당신 know. Rapunzel is cousins with the sisters Elsa and Anna. Rapunzel seems like she forgot she had cousins. I am not sure about Elsa and Anna if they forgot they had a cousin. How are they cousins? Elsa and Anna's mom is the sister of Rapunzel's mom. Now they are Cousins. Another weird thing. Both shows are created 의해 the same person. I never knew they were cousins till I saw a YouTube show that said they were cousins. Another weird thing. Ariel had something to do with this. Ariel and her family were at the surface. Elsa and Anna's parents went to go to Rapunzel's wedding. 당신 remember the storm there was? It was created 의해 Ariel's dad cause he was mad that the ship killed Ariel's mom. All this is true. 당신 could not believe this, but it all is true. Elsa and Anna are cousins with Rapunzel and Ariel had to do with all this, though she was not created 의해 the same person of Rapunzel and Elsa and Anna. Now 당신 know all this stuff. They are cousins. Now 당신 know.

Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt 디즈니 founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the 디즈니 brand. That being said, I was thinking about the 디즈니 Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also 사랑 lists and ranking systems, I thought I'd rank all of the 집 situations/parents in terms of which I'd like to have had most instead of what I had. I know that children statistically have the best chances when they have a mother and father in the 집 and I have too often seen the effects of being raised 의해 single parents. So for those reasons, I tend to prefer two-parent households to one and that will no doubt be reflected in my countdown. This doesn't mean that I don't have respect and adoration for the widowed parents but rather that I already did the 1 parent thing and frankly, it sucked and...

Here's my list of 디즈니 Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. 뮬란 and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their 사랑 grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true 또는 valuable, it's my personal opinion that while romance over the time diminishes and eventually trust, respect and understanding becomes the core of relationship, on which true 사랑 can be nurtured. I also 사랑 how they gain each other's trust and respect 의해 their actions 더 많이 than their words.
I 사랑 how they talk about their differences without hurting each other's feelings and how they can respect each other's opinions while upholding their own. I cannot help but simply put their relation on a pedestal of perfection.

I got inspired 의해 laylastepford's link about which American Cities the 디즈니 Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an 기사 about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each 디즈니 Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 분 train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off the town it seems perfect for Snow White, it seems like a cute little town, it's mostly known for it's cafes and Snow White is good at baking so this would be the perfect place to start a cafe of her own. This town also has a lot of villas which adds even 더 많이 to the small town touch. It's also as far as I know a pretty 안전한, 안전 town and like I stated it's not so far away from Gothenburg

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I 사랑 art! I 사랑 culture, history, 음악 and I 사랑 art. I have done some posts and 투표 about the 디즈니 Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the 디즈니 Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the 디즈니 Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each 디즈니 Princess would 사랑 the most. (I could probably find a 봉고차, 반 Gogh for each of them as I absolutely 사랑 and adore his work but I tried to keep it 더 많이 spread out.)

The "article" picture in the 상단, 맨 위로 right is one of my personal favorites, Vincent 봉고차, 반 Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887). As some of 당신 may know, I am highly mixed Japanese and there is so much I 사랑 about Japanese culture. I really 사랑 the Japanese style here along with the character symbols and I 사랑 the use of the colors. I think the little 꽃 are gorgeous and this painting is 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 stunning.

Shop til you drop ladies!
I 사랑 shopping! It's one of my favourite hobbies. I once did this for a poll, a couple of years ago. I thought I'd take it a step further. So this is completely in my opinion. This about choosing shops that match their personalities and other little details about them like how they decorate a 집 또는 what their hobbies are for example. The shops that I've chosen are the ones I visit, have walked past, visited online 또는 have actually shopped in.

Updated; I realised I put up the wrong picture for Cinderella's first pick. I wanted to add something about Cinderella's 초 pick that my mum pointed out. I wasn't happy with Aurora's picks, so she just has one now but I'm happier with it.

Snow White

The 샵 fits Snow White's personality perfectly.
Nobody loves ironing, but back in 1993, one dull, grey ironing board sparked an idea. Cath Kidston wanted to brighten up everyone's day. Inspired 의해 nostalgic childhood memories of vintage England, Cath started designing her own brightly coloured patterns, applying them to modern, practical products. So as some of 당신 may have read, and if not then I highly recommend(!), my link. In that article, I mentioned a website called link which helped me a lot with understanding dominant characteristics relative to seasons. This site also provided a little Fashion Style Quiz! So, I couldn't help myself but to try and put myself in each of the DP's shoes and take the 퀴즈 for each DP to see what style they'd get. I humbly do believe the results came out fairly accurate but I'd 사랑 to hear what 당신 guys think!

I listed each 디즈니 Princess in accordance with their dominant fashion persona. They all had mixed results which is represented in my results but for category-sake, I grouped them based on the dominant fashion style. I also provided a sample outfit that I created which I think represents their "modern" style if they had one. I also put it in their "power colors" based on their Color Season. :D

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest 디즈니 princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a 팬 of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that 바비 인형 doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde, if that's any word to describe it.

12. Snow:
She has too rounded a face with all features in round shape, eyebrows is practically a line with a nose that gives a hint of button and eyes are also roundish. I like her lips, full and red. She does have that baby face that makes her look cute rather than pretty as such. Her skin tone is way too white for me to like. Not a really great 팬 of her smile, her eyes squint too much when she smiles. There's no depth in her face but maybe that's animation. I like her hair...

Here's my quick top10 favorites of 디즈니 Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune 또는 lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I 사랑 become my all time favorites and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic 음악 is. Anyways, this is my current list of 상단, 맨 위로 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I 옮기기 onto newer songs.

10. I see the light:
I have recently taking a liking to this song. Its sweet and have such pleasant romance in it that it makes me sigh. I 사랑 the lyrics, they kinda feel personal to my story with my husband. Chorus is just fabulous, I simply 사랑 the lines "And the world has somehow shifted", it 슈츠 the situation so well. Zack's duet adds much charisma to it as well, Mandy Moore has given such a sighing soft note to this lovely piece.

12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus 또는 attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her 담홍색, 핑크 dress. I have also read many 코멘트 debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. 담홍색, 핑크 Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came across the 12 Season System which is an adaptation of the earlier 4 Season System. Since this was all so new to me and quite complex and nuanced, I had to find as much detailed explanations as I possibly could to understand it. There are two major sites I used and they will be provided for those of 당신 who are interested! :D

During my activity on Fanpop, especially this club, I often see many peoples were commented about their favorites and least favorites 디즈니 Princesses. So I think and started to made most favorites and least favorites 디즈니 Princesses 의해 팬팝 users in this club. Here's the list and say sorry if 당신 don't agree with this 기사 (this is just my opinions only). Enjoy!

Most 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 Princesses in Fanpop.

1. Mulan

This is kinda opposite with the general public. In general public she is one of the unpopular Princess (probably because she technically isn't a princess, but she has the honor of a princess). Many peoples took her in the 상단, 맨 위로 3 of their 가장 좋아하는 lists. Peoples often pretend her as best role model of all 디즈니 Princesses, for her 메리다와 마법의 숲 act to save her country.

2. Ariel

1. Anna
Some people might find her a little annoying with all her awkwardness and energy, but I found her very entertaining and funny. Yes, she got engaged to someone she met that day, but she had her reasons. She's been lonely for 더 많이 than 10 years, and this is the first time in forever (ahaha) that they are finally opening up the gates. This is pretty much her only chance, right? So she meets this guy who seems PERFECT. At this point in the movie, did it 십자가, 크로스 your mind that "hey, I bet he's gonna try to kill her"? Worst case scenario, they end up not really getting along, but at least she has a little company. I mean, I wouldn't encourage marrying I guy the 일 당신 meet him, and it still was a little bit idiotic, but I think she should be given a break. Anyways, she cared so much for her older sister, and even though she's been living alone and hurt for such a long time, she never let it break her. :) Another reason she's my 가장 좋아하는 is because I can relate to her, since my brother has severe OCD and for a while, would just stay in my parent's room with the door closed and I could never see him because it was that bad. :( Plus he kind of has her personality and he loves...

Don't call Fanpop superficial. :)
First of all, THANK 당신 so much to the 24+ 팬 on this site who participated in my series of "DP personality trait" polls! I was so happy to see so many voters as I wanted this to be a very community-involved thing. Your participation was most necessary and appreciated! :D Your 코멘트 were even 더 많이 appreciated and some are 게시됨 throughout the 기사 as relevant to each trait. .... 또는 Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be 더 많이 positive people. They cared 더 많이 about well-roundedness, being modest in all aspects because true modesty wouldn't just be limited to attitude, manner 또는 appearance but apply to all aspects. Likewise, the DPs were shown to be modest in all aspects: Positive and pleasant demeanor, graceful and good etiquette and feminine yet modestly dressed.

Secondly, they were obviously not uncommon 또는 unrealistic for their time but they still aren't now! Need proof? Here are some examples of women in the spotlight who managed to hold onto their morals and who are just as "unrealistically perfect" as the DPs whom are accused of being such. Do people really see...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another 기사 that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in 디즈니 the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in common.

Doing this was hard, because i had to think of a few good reasons and think properly which heroine fitted which villain, and such. It might be flawed in some parts, and I know that, so if 당신 want to disagree in a few of these choices, you're perfectly allowed to. After all, a good discussion never hurt anybody.

I based this on my ideas and also on a few things Audreyfreak has said from time to time. So, thanks for the idea Audrey! It certainly inspired me to make this.
