 Accidental Discrimination?
Accidental Discrimination?
Okay, so the 더 많이 I think about this, the 더 많이 it starts to bother me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any 디즈니 Princesses having green eyes. What's up with that?!

Snow White: brown
Cinderella: blue
Aurora: blue
Ariel: blue
Belle: brown
Jasmine: brown
Pocahontas: brown
Mulan: brown
I think Tiana's eyes are brown too.

Even the majority of Disney's other leading ladies don't have jade-coloured peepers. I'm pretty sure Tarzan's Jane has blue eyes, as does Giselle in Enchanted. So do Alice (in Wonderland) and Peter Pan's Wendy! I can't really tell what colour Megara's eyes are in Hercules (blue 또는 brown, ...or purple?!) but i know they're not green. The Hunchback of Notre Dame's Esmeralda is as close as it gets, but she's not a princess. (Maybe they felt obligated, because her name sounds like "emerald"?)
Again, please correct me if i'm wrong. (Nicely, though!)

As 당신 can probably tell, I have green eyes. And I just can't believe that out of so many characters, there would be such an imbalance in iris color! I'm feeling left out! *pouts*

I'm just wondering if there's some kind of quirky story about this, like the one about no chewing gum being sold at any 디즈니 Parks.

Any thoughts on this?

 Different faces, different personalities
Different faces, different personalities
We all 사랑 디즈니 princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. I recently developed an interest of 글쓰기 기사 on 디즈니 princess symbolism. Thanks to the people who viewed my 기사 recently and loved them! Hope 당신 all enjoy!
Snow white – Spring
Yes! For me the princesses in spring category are kind, resourceful, pure, obedient, self-reserved, matured and somewhat innocent. I like the Spring people. Traits 또는 qualities tell she’s a spring person. She always likes to keep the room...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired 의해 the Taj Mahal.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as 재스민 속, 재 스민 because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If 당신 want a version of 알라딘 with 재스민 속, 재 스민 being played 의해 a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of 디즈니 Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature 디즈니 Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade 이전 just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to show how 신데렐라 and the prince fell in 사랑 with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus 또는 attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her 담홍색, 핑크 dress. I have also read many 코멘트 debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. 담홍색, 핑크 Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

Well, it's time for another 기사 here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another 기사 again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about 디즈니 villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the 디즈니 villains 더 많이 than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old 질문 게시됨 from a 년 이전 that inspired me to write this. The 질문 was about which 디즈니 Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope 당신 guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this 기사 ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in 인기 culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

This was reposted due to an unwanted and frankly annoying troll spamming my last article

Over the years, I've noticed that people really HATE Aurora in Keys To The Kingdom from 디즈니 Princess 마법에 걸린 사랑 Tales: Follow Your Dreams. I've honestly never understood the hate she received, mainly because no one ever freaking EXPLAINS it! I've always asked and they just say "SHE SUCKS," 또는 "SHE'S A GIRLY STEREOTYPE," 또는 "SHE HAS A POP VOICE," and all that but they don't EXPLAIN! The reason this version of Aurora is so hated is even less explained than the plot holes in Frozen. First of all, Enchanted...

Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the 디즈니 Princesses here. First, I absolutely 사랑 her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also 사랑 her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

Ok, so I'm going to list my 상단, 맨 위로 10 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 Princess dresses. Since there's 10 spots, one Princess may be in the list multiple times and another may not be on it at all. Before my number one I will list honorable mentions that ALMOST made it onto my list. Time to start the list! Keep in mind that this is my opinion, and 당신 might not agree. Enjoy the article!

10. Belle's gold dress

Maybe it's a tad overrated, but I think it deserves a lot of the attention it gets. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just look at it! And this is coming from someone who hates that color, and even I have to admit...

All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if 당신 dislike the 디즈니 Princesses (and if 당신 do I don't know why you're here!) 또는 hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend 읽기 this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if 당신 wish, to make it shorter.

A lot of 디즈니 팬 and critics alike accuse the Princesses, specifically the older ones, of "sitting around waiting for a prince", "waiting...

I was bored so I decided to write an 기사 about which princesses look like which greek goddesses, since I'm greek and I 사랑 the Greek Mythology. Enjoy!

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine. She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see 재스민 속, 재 스민 as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). Also, Hera protects women which means she's a feminist, again like Jasmine. Another common, is thei history with their husbands. Zeus...
