I know 겨울왕국 isn't part of the 디즈니 Princess franchise but this movie was on the list of 영화 to watch for months before I finally started doing these 기사 so please just go with it. 또는 don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen
Last time watched: 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, 더 많이 like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when 디즈니 released childrens 책 that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers, a 월 또는 two before the movie actually released. I didn't read the book but a user was oh so kind enough to go on the 디즈니 Princess spot's 벽 and announce that to everyone so then I 로스트 even 더 많이 interest. It wasn't until the movie came out and everyone was talking about it and going on about how good it was that I decided to go see it. Here's how much I liked it; I watched it 3 times in theaters (once with my oldest sister, once on my birthday with my husband, and one 더 많이 time with my mom and niece when I was feeling depressed). It was almost 4 once 디즈니 released the sing along version but I didn't have a ride to the movie theater so I had to sit that one out. Eventually my hype for the movie kinda died but I still 사랑 listening to the soundtrack over and over again and I still like getting merch every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:
As I've said before in my 기사 about the 신데렐라 remake, since I watched this movie somewhat recently there isn't much about this movie I forgot.

And since we're getting to the 영화 I haven't watched that long 이전 (next one will be a movie I watched in 2015) I've decided to start talking about the things I 사랑 about the 영화 I've recently watched. It won't be different from me talking about how much I forgot since I talk about how much I 사랑 those 영화 too anyway.

The only thing I really forget about this movie is how things weren't even explained properly like how Elsa got her powers in the first place 또는 how even after the movie made it clear that she couldn't control her powers she suddenly knew how to create a palace and alter her dress and make sentient snow creatures 또는 how Elsa could have kept her powers secret from everyone when there had to have been news of a princess having ice powers, right? At least with Rapunzel's magic hair the only one who knew was Mother Gothel.

Why I 사랑 this movie so much:
So first, I'll be talking about the personal reasons for why I loved this movie so much. At the time this movie released one of my sisters was going through a rough time (not going to give any details) so I wasn't seeing that much anymore. Elsa and Anna reminded me so much of my relationship with my sister because we used to be so close when we were little but as she got older we drifted apart. We're fine now but it was still such an emotional time and watching 겨울왕국 helped me with what I was going through.

The way Elsa was in this movie reminded me so much of me too. I've had depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember and I'm prone to panic/anxiety attacks and I was alone for most of my life because I was different from other kids and was called a freak. I know I sound like a broken record when I say this but Let it Go did help me with my depression and would help me feel better with what I was going through at the time. And I remember when I first watched the movie even I was thinking, "Wait, what?" when Anna said yes to Hans' proposal so early in the movie. I don't have an issue with the use of True Love's 키스 in the earlier 영화 또는 couples getting married at the end of their 영화 even after knowing each other for a few days because those are 영화 about romance and fairy tales and at least for most of these couples we spend an entire movie getting to know these characters. Hans and Anna getting engaged so early in the movie after knowing each other only for a few hours was just...I'm sorry, I couldn't. My husband tried proposing to me when we hadn't even officially met face-to-face yet (we met online and skyped for 2 years before actually meeting each other in person) and I knew that was a bad idea and we broke up after living together for a few months. It all obviously worked out but I'm still with Elsa on this one.

Anna, also, reminded me of myself too. There's times where I get really excited like Anna, I get awkward, and I talk a lot. I've actually said some things Anna said before I even saw the movie. It's gotten to a point that, again, like Anna, I get called annoying for how I act.

Now I'm going to talk about the movie itself.

First off, I loved Elsa and Anna's relationship. Their relationship at the beginning of the movie, not the whole movie in general since they were seperated for most of it. I'm glad that in the 겨울왕국 shorts we get to see the sisters together 더 많이 and I can't wait to see 더 많이 of them together in the sequel.

The 애니메이션 for the snow and ice is probably my 가장 좋아하는 thing in this whole movie. I 사랑 snow so seeing it animated so beautifully in 영화 like this and Rise of the Guardians always makes me so happy. I know it will never happen but if 디즈니 ever built Elsa's ice palace in one of their parks I would give up all my money for plane and park tickets. (okay maybe not go that far but that's how much I 사랑 her ice palace)

Kristoff may not be my 가장 좋아하는 hero but his scenes with Svens always make me laugh. I'm also one of those people who has "conversations" with my pets like Kristoff and Sven do.

I don't like the whole soundtrack (Frozen 심장 and Reindeers are Better Than People are almost forgettable to me and I'll listen to In Summer and Fixer Upper occasionally) but the ones Anna and Elsa sang were always my favorites. Any time I watched the 영화 in the past I got 더 많이 excited to watch their musical numbers than anything else in the movie.

Even though he's like Disney's version of Minions, I can't not 사랑 Olaf. Every time I see that little guy I want to give him a warm hug. I even have a cardboard cutout of him that I got after 겨울왕국 came out on dvd. And I want an Olaf waffle maker sooooo bad. I wish I liked his song 더 많이 but it just feels meh compared to Let it Go and First Time in Forever. Though my 가장 좋아하는 lyrics will forever be
Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle
But put me in summer and I'll be a-....HAPPY SNOWMAN!

I still spend the movie looking at Hans for subtle hints of his true character and while I like that the writers of this movie put in these hints I wish they didn't make them so easy to miss. Before watching this movie again today the only memorable hints I could think of were just him gesturing the kingdom when he was talking about "finding his own place" and then later looking up at the chandelier before having one of the Duke's men shoot an 애로우 at it and having it almost crush Elsa. Everything else I have to look up on IMDB's trivia page for this movie. Maybe if that jerk user hadn't spoiled the twist before the movie came out maybe I would have actually been surprised 또는 maybe liked the twist more. I still liked the line, "If only there was someone out there who loved you." That still feels like a stab to the 심장 every time I watch it.

I did like that to save Anna it had to be an Act of True 사랑 instead of True Love's Kiss. It was a nice change, especially for a movie that was supposed to be about sister love. I'm not sure it was really earned in this movie though since we don't see a lot of positive interactions between Elsa and Anna before the climax of the movie.

I think Kristoff and Anna are a cute couple and I like them a lot 더 많이 than Tiana and Naveen as a couple. I even 사랑 their short scenes together in the shorts, especially his, "I 사랑 you, baby!" I can't wait to see 더 많이 of them together in the sequel.

Princess and Queen:
As I mentioned before I 사랑 Anna and Elsa. I used to 사랑 Elsa 더 많이 than Anna but now I 사랑 them equally. Elsa is 5 on my list but I'm keeping her there, but Anna is going to be moving from 8 to 6.

Movie:
I hate to say this but I actually felt...bored. I used to 사랑 watching this movie when it first came out but this time, for some reason, I didn't have fun watching it anymore. I just ended up having this movie on for background noise until the climax came up then I was interested again. Maybe it's because I've gotten to a point in life where I just take 영화 too seriously instead of sitting down an enjoying them. I'm hoping that the sequel will do what this movie should have done and make it actually about the sisters and actually explain Elsa's powers. This movie is 8 on my list but I'm going to keep it there.

Rating: 6/10

Would I watch it again?
Yes, maybe with my sisters 또는 nieces and nephews.

다음 movie will be both the 겨울왕국 shorts!

For my first article, I decided to start with a light, fluffy topic! Kidding, of course, but I think this is a rather crucial topic that needs to be discussed. Something to keep in mind before 읽기 this article, I'm a 팬 of Frozen, I'm a 팬 of the 디즈니 Princesses, and I'm without a doubt a 팬 of Disney! 당신 can be a 팬 of something and still criticize it (Spoiler alert for the article? Ah well..) Anyway, onto the article!

First things first let's discuss the racial makeup of Frozen's setting. Oh WAIT, we can't because 겨울왕국 takes place in a fictional land! That's something that seems...

Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!

Since it's Veteran's Day, I thought I'd use some rare time off to write an article. The only 기사 idea I could think of that wouldn't take all 일 to research and explore would be a list of princess "peasant" dresses rated in order from the ones I like least to the one I'm seriously considering commissioning my Ren Faire 프렌즈 to sew for me.

Most people seem to 사랑 the princesses' fancy, sparkly, poofy ballgowns, 또는 their iconic princess dresses. I personally was never a fan. I'm a real stickler for comfort and practicality. Ballgowns tend to be made with a material I find uncomfortable...

I'm slightly obsessed with eyes. I 사랑 drawing them, I 사랑 looking at them, and when I look at the beauty of a person, princess 또는 not, the eyes play a big part in their attractiveness. So I decided to make an 기사 about my 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 Princess eyes. Honestly, they all have gorgeous eyes, so this will be difficult. But, I shall try my hardest. Oh yeah, Anna and Elsa are included.

13. Cinderella
Her eyes are a really pretty color. They are an amazing shade of blue, and... well, that's about all I like about them. The shape of them is really weird, and in a lot of shots, they are just...
