Hello everyone!
I was always that little girl who wanted to grow up to be a princess. I've been obsessed with the 디즈니 Princesses my entire life, and when I was young Ariel was my #1 favorite! The Little Mermaid was practically the only movie I would watch, and I had the entire thing memorized. I would amble around 노래 the songs from it (especially Part of Your World), so my mother decided to put me in a choir.
I HATED it.
My parents finally let me quit, on the condition that I must continue doing something with music. I decided to try violin and I also began to take figure skating lessons once a week. Don't get excited, I can't do any fancy tricks 또는 anything. It was just recreational and I've never been in any competitions. After 4 years of violin I had grown to despise it, and I quit after 6th grade. (Beginning to see a trend here?)
My best friend was part of a choir, so I decided to give 노래 a 초 chance. I must have just needed some time to mature after quitting my very first choir, because I ended up loving this one! Unfortunately I was forced to quit after a 년 due to monetary and transportation issues. Afterwards, I began playing the Celtic harp, and have been doing that ever since. My harp teacher also teaches voice, so a few years 이전 I returned to singing, which has always been my greatest musical love. I'm also a member of my school's choir.
My entire life I've been a voracious reader - at least until high school rolled around and the sudden homework deluge forced me to stop. I still try to read as much as possible, but it gets increasingly difficult with each passing year. I especially 사랑 retellings of classic fairytales, and this is probably the reason why I 사랑 the 디즈니 Princesses so much.
After my sophomore 년 my figure skating slowly drew to a close because I got a job!! :D I work as an intern at my local zoo, and it's a blast. I have a deep-seated 사랑 for 동물 of all kinds, but 말 are my 가장 좋아하는 의해 far. They are another life long obsession of mine, and I hope someday I'll be able to have one of my own.
I'll be heading off to college 다음 year, and I'm thinking about doing a double major in creative 글쓰기 and environmental science. At this point in my life I would 사랑 to be an author, but a 더 많이 realistic career choice for me would probably be something that had to do with the science surrounding climate change and/or the environment. This may change though, and I'm excited to see what the future brings. :)
