Alot of people 토론 over this, so I thought I'd be the one to address it. Who's royalty 또는 who's not royalty really doesn't matter to me but I'm just going to tell 당신 guys who's techinically a princess and who isn't . I will address the royal status of each in 랜덤 order.

Mulan
First of all, 뮬란 is not a princess in anyway, we all know this. But 당신 could say she's royalty as she was given the crest of the Emperor. Not to mention all of China bowing down to her. So while 뮬란 isn't royalty, she's certainly not a commoner.

Belle
Technically, she isn't a princess either. Belle obviously wasn't born royalty and she never actually marries The Beast, though it's pretty 안전한, 안전 to assume she eventually would have. But even then, what exactly is the Beast prince OF? I'm starting to think he's just some rich kid who got his own castle.

Cinderella and Tiana
I'm decided to talk about these two simultaneously since they both have the exact same status. Both of them married into royalty, so they are princesses. But one could 토론 they're not truly princesses because they don't have royal blood.

Snow White
Yes, I know Snow White was born a princess but here's the thing. Near the end of the movie, the Evil Queen, while still in disguise, dies a very brutal death. So Snow White has her happy ending but what about her kingdom? Isn't she heir to the throne. Techinically Snow White isn't a princess, she's actually a queen. She also marries into royalty but I don't think I need to repeat myself.

Pocahontas
Yes, I do consider Pocahontas a princess. She's a chief's daughter which is basically the Native American equivalent. I know that the Powhatan tribe isn't a monarchy but she has to deal with the same sort of stuff as a princess does, like arranged marriage. And the real life person was treated like a princess when she came to Europe.

Ariel
I think Pocahontas is a princess just as much as Ariel and Jasmine. Ariel was born royalty but there are some technicalities. Her father, King Triton is clearly 더 많이 of a God than a King. I don't know Mythology 또는 the original story but I bet they just made Triton a king to make the story 더 많이 fairytale-ish. So with that said, if Ariel's a princess then Hercules is a prince and I know people don't agree with that.

Jasmine
Pretty much the same as Ariel. If your defintion of princess is being the daughter of a king 또는 퀸 then 재스민 속, 재 스민 is not a princess in your book. Her father is a Sultan, which is 더 많이 또는 less the same thing as a king. They're both ruling monarchs. I agree Jasmine's a princess but once 당신 address ALL the techinicalities and ALL the debatable facts. The only legit princesses are....

Aurora and Rapunzel
These two are the only undebatable and undeniable princesses. Both of them are of royal blood and their parents are kings and queens. Yeah, the two princesses who grew up unaware of their royal status are the only legitimate princesses through and through. 당신 could argue all 일 about the other princesses but 당신 cannot deny Rapunzel and Aurora's royal status.

But 당신 know what, I 사랑 all the princesses and I am very happy with the line-up. People need to stop getting so worked up about who's a princess and who's royalty. They are all part of the line-up according to Disney. Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Mulan, Tiana, Snow White, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Aurora and Rapunzel are the OFFICIAL 디즈니 Princesses, end of discussion.
