Yeah sorry, the other pictures decided that they didn't want to load, after like 5 minutes of waiting I gave up.

Anyhow I think to some degree it is. There have been cases (like this one; link) where a student who simply wanted to be put in a productive learning environment was arrested for being racist. There was a huge language barrier preventing her from doing her schoolwork and she was arrested for asking if she could get a group she could understand.
And then there are things like this; link where rapists were left free because people were afraid to seem racist.

I'm not saying political correctness is bad. But I think there should be a line drawn. If someone commits a crime they shouldn't be able to get out of it because of race. Granted it works the other way around, but that's a different issue.

I think consideration of others is important, but people are becoming way too afraid of stepping on others' toes and way too easily offended.

I agree with Renarimae. Political correctness is everywhere it's outrageous! At my college we were doing a toy fundraising project & the school wanted the poster to say holiday hats instead of Santa hats! Are you kidding me?! It's what they are! Get over it. I'm half Jewish & I don't get offended by Santa hats. I celebrate both Christmas & Hanukkah because my dad is Jewish & my mom is Catholic but I don't consider myself to be a religious person. I think saying Happy Holidays is too politically correct. I say Merry Christmas & I don't care what peoples religion is.
