I agree; I don't think it is possible to be able to create a perfect Utopian society like Light/Kira wanted to. All bad ideas, sinister intentions, and cruel people would have to be erased. but seeing as it would be impossible to pick out every single wrongdoer, even if they hadn't acted on their criminal desires, would be impossible. Light/Kira's idea is very 'knight in shining armor' to me and sounds more like a fantasy than what would actually be possible. Delusions of grandeur much? xD;

The idea as a whole just sounded childish, wanting to become a God of a new world (but what would happen when Kira died? The evil that he had spent his whole life to eradicate would continue, unless he tried to pass it on to someone else.)

This is just how I see it. ;u;

Eh,I think in the manner he handled it in writing the name of someone he didn't agree with or something that even opposed him in the notebook and creating a perfect society..not really sure if that could have been done in the first place and it would be very hard to pick out every single wrong doer and at first it seemed like he was acting as a protector trying to eliminate wrongdoers but it would very hard to that and especially not even knowing why they did it and with all that power and how it was working he got caught up in it and ended up with him wanting be the highest power of a "perfect" world..and I completely agree with what Cerudays said absolutely perfectly worded.
