Because it would NOT be believable after the relationship that developed between Damon and Elena in the previous novel. I honestly cannot see the show following the books. Again after the episode we've just watched; it is beyond clear that Damon lives for Elena... it'd take fifty seasons to convince me of a Bamon relationship to be plausible in the show. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

EXACTLY!at this point i wont buy the book, i read the books just for DE, the rest annoys me so much. 	delenaisluv picked which is why I won't be 읽기 it: why is she so determined to please Bamon fans? aren't her editors telling her to have Stelena? they should watch the show in that case. also, she says she got personally involved in SS. did her editors say that? because it happened to be my favorite VD book. no way is it believable for Damon to suddenly love Bonnie.
