If they weren't also OTP, they why would the writers want to build them up so perfectly? BTW, everybody knows they are the most wanted couple of the show :) posted over a year ago.

Firstly, there's yet so much to happen on the show and they don't know for how long it will run, therefore many changes WILL happen along the way. And secondly... I pray to GOD they are not Mark Schwahn. They've already said that they want to give Delena a proper build-up, which means we'll have to wait for some time, but it WILL happen. I dont think that anyone can say that fairly and get away with it, because it is just the beginning of the show. Maybe they are branded as "true love" from the beginning, but it doesnt mean that they ARE or that they will forever be the only choice. Look at Gossip Girl and Blair/Chuck. that was unexpected. I actually think they did that as an "OMFG" moment and the fans went CRAZY for them, because they truly had the potential for something extremely amazing. The same will happen with DE. S/E are just thrown in our faces and shoved down our throats with all the crap talk about "soulmates" and "true love from first sight" sh** that I dont believe in. It's just CHEAP. It's a cheap way of justifying a couple to why they should be together. Whereas Damon and Elena have the potential for something extremely spectacularly beautiful. They shouldnt waste it, because the chesmitry and potential for an actual LOVE-STORY is there for them. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

Even without DE for 3 episodes, it doesn't make me think the writers are biased or anything, although it seems that way. But I don't think the writers are in charge of what pics get released. See, they can't tell us anything until the episode airs. I understand why fans think the producers are in favour of SE, but I disagree. posted over a year ago.
