Reading this interview has only made me more impatient to see what Damon is going to do. I know whatever he does will probably be dangerous, questionable, and will most likely upset people, but I love that he's going to stop at nothing to ensure Elena is safe. I also loved that DE are reported to be growing closer - it's interesting too, because they haven't had much screen-time since 2x13. Makes me think there has to be some DE scenes on Thursday.

Like I said, I really can't stand this woman. She doesn't have any respect for Delena's fans feelings. She NEVER, EVER has a good word or point of view about DE. She just can talk about how wonderful, epic and lovely Stelena are (Yes, really an epic pair. They got together after 2 episodes, what's more epic than that?).
She's very unprofessional, because I've never seen KW saying things like these. He always try to be impartial and professional, which I really like. When he talked about DE future first kiss at Comic Con, he was so into it. He liked very much the idea of them and really doesn't want to thrown them away. I could see it in the way he talked about them..
But that woman, gosh..she doesn't even try to cover her preference, which I repeat is really unprofessional even because D\S\E ARE a triangle.

^ agreed julie plec is really annoying, once she tweeted ian when he said damon s gonna sing a song to elena, she said not a chance. Yeah she never says anything gud abt de or de fans :/ dont like how she says damon is the obstacle bet 'se true epic love'. There s nothin epic abt se at all. Nothing.

What did she say that was so bad?? Obviously I don't think Damon should just be seen as an 'obstacle' - but he is, because he's going to get between his brother and Elena. And Julie called SE a 'solid, beautiful love story' - but so what? She's a producer, she has to say nice things about SE. You have to understand that she has to try and make SE's relationship sound convincing and look good, otherwise it wouldn't be a real triangle. People would just say:'Why doesn't Elena choose Damon?' It would be different if SE weren't a couple, but they are, and she can't ignore that they're together simply because we don't like them.

In the past, I've been very dubious of where Julie and Kevin stand, triangle-wise. The truth is, they've BOTH said things that favour SE. Last year, Kevin said something along the lines of 'The show is always going to be about Stefan and Elena. It has to be. They're soulmates.' He later retracted that statement and said 'You don't always end up with your soulmate.' Julie has made at least one big Twitter disaster that I know of, but there have been others. Now I don't take any notice. I think K and J are operating on a different level - if it looks like they're constantly promoting SE then it's because they know SE are the weaker point of the triangle. If they didn't like DE then I don't believe they would have given us 2x08. Or 1x19. Or 1x11 (which, incidentally, they co-wrote.) If they were so against this love triangle happening, then they wouldn't have taken the job. More to the point, they wouldn't have written DE's story the way they have, and we wouldn't love them quite so much.
