ok first off this is my first article, so I don't know how good it is, but 곰 with me. I read some 기사 on the SE spot that said DE were a "non-exsistent couple". I wasn't going to say anything on their spot because it is rude to do that, so I thought I would talk about it in an article.

So yes DE are a "non-exsistent couple" right now, but there have been many cases when a ship from another movie 또는 show were not ever technically a couple but ended up together. and here are a couple of my examples.

1. Jack & Kate from LOST. These two were only ever a couple in ONE episode!! ONE episode!! and guess what happened to them, they ended up together in the end because they were meant for each other!!! 당신 don't have to be a couple to know 당신 are meant to be with that person, and Jack&Kate proved that.

2. Jack & Rose from Titanic. They were never technically a couple, she was technically with that other dude. but Rose and Jack had a connection and moments no one can explain (like Delena). It was just fate. In the end Rose did live with Jack happily ever after in Heaven.

and there are some other ones too, I just don't have the time to write them all down. but my point to this 기사 is that just because Damon & Elena are not a couple dosen't mean they are not meant to be. They very well might become a couple somewhere down the line IDK, but IMO DE are soulmates, if they don't end up together in this life then they will in another.
