I get the impression that they try to turn Bonnie into the 의해 Delena 팬 most hated person, now that Caroline leaves. All try to get Damon to live his life, but Bonnie “advertises” going on with their lives most – for Damon as well as for everyone. And although I am not worried at all, I dislike the Bamon scenes now. Damon’s time has been spent with several different people over the season, most with Lily and Stefan, but every DB moment makes me sick.
But to get back to Bonnie’s crap this season: She was angry in the beginning when Damon hesitated to save her, and she later thanked him for not hesitating, when she didn’t know that he thought Elena dead and therefore wasn’t tempted 의해 the thought of Elena waking up at that moment. And Bonnie is also the one who tries to get Damon to live as if Elena doesn’t exist and cheers him up to 옮기기 on most (“Are 당신 kidding me? The last thing anyone wants to deal with for the 다음 six decades is a cranky, bitter, sexless Damon Salvatore, okay? Elena would never do that to us, which is why she gave 당신 very clear instructions to live your life. And apart from your glaring lack of standards, this isn't a bad thing.”). Bonnie furthermore was mad at Damon for desiccating himself 다음 to Elena, while she showed no reaction during her hate speech to standing 다음 to Elena’s coffin for the first time in months, while she now blames Damon for her life having fallen into pieces while he was gone.
I understand that the situation is difficult for Bonnie, and Elena also asked her to enjoy her life despite the painful circumstances, but Bonnie does that too much; she goes too far, and the writers turn her into a truly hate-worthy person now. But we all know how judgmental Bonnie used to be, and that Elena has always been respectful and understanding towards everyone. Elena was obviously the one who has cared for and understood Damon from the beginning, no matter what the others said. Elena was of course the one who has never stopped loving Damon, through everything that they had to go through. And it is still repeatedly mentioned in the story what Elena means for Damon and what she did for him.
