I'm 99.9% certain that those "spoilers" were never confirmed so don't freak out. lol. I think some people are trying to spread them to support their cause.
Here is the official 설명 from Midnight and it clearly mentions that Elena has to choose who she belongs with. LJ would not have it be BONNIE's choice after 6 책 of the 질문 being posed to ELENA:
