Great news for fans of Bigbang’s Daesung in Japan as the singer will release a new album next month.

According to Bigbang’s agency, YG Entertainment, Daesung will release a concept album, “D-Lite”, in celebration of the year-end party season on October 29.The album will be released through “Enka! Avex Produced by YGEX”, a label under Tokyo Pudding that created big hits with enka music (similar to trot) in Japan during late 90’s.

Daesung’s new album will contain a total of nine tracks under the trot genre, including three new enka songs. A song called “Look at Me, GwiSoon” that was originally written by G-Dragon, will be the title track that used Japanese lyrics written by Kenichi Maeyamada.

“It is a project that reflects a new side of me, apart from Bigbang. I hope that all people, from children to elderly people, will listen to it. Above all else, I hope that many people will sing and dance along with it as they enjoy the year-end parties,” Daesung commented.

Before releasing this album, Daesung will also release his solo “D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan ~D’slove” tour DVD on October 22. The DVD contains several clips taken from Daesung’s 15 concerts in eight cities around Japan, which gathered over 170,000 fans.
