When Ecklie interviews Sara and Grissom about when their relationship started, Sara tells him "two years ago." Since this is the beginning of season eight when she says this, it's assumed that she means she's been seeing Grissom since the beginning of season six, which makes perfect sense because that's RIGHT AFTER Grave Danger where Nick is kidnapped (season five finale), and plenty of people think it makes sense that nearly loosing someone he really cares about was the kick in the pants Grissom needed to embrace his feelings for Sara.
