Reason for asking is that I hear a lot of people don't like the Alice character in the book because she is too hyper, controlling, and annoying (having read the books, I have to agree) but from people who have seen the movies say the opposite about her movie counterpart. IMO, I like Movie Alice better. She's a bit more sweeter and less controlling....and she's hot.
