There was nothing worse than being stuck in the middle row of a 봉고차, 반 with your cousin. And that's exactly how 11-year-old Kacey Dodson felt. Sitting 다음 to Wally Beetles was not the treat. She looked over at the little notebook he was scribbling on. It was a picture of Wally with muscles and Kuki feeling them. The 제목 said: Kuki Loves Wally. Kacey giggled. Wally noticed that Kacey was looking. He hid the drawing. In the row behind them were Lucas, 9, and Nikolas Dodson, 6, who were playing their 닌텐도 DS's. In between them was Joey Beetles, 1, who was sleeping. Kacey pulled out her phone. She texted Kiki. The text she sent was: Bored outta my mind. Kiki replied: Sittin 다음 2 Wally must B torture. Kacey sent: Yep. She set her phone down. In the front 좌석 was Kacey's Mom and 다음 to her was Wally's Mom. The Dads decided to skip this trip. Kacey would definitely rather be watching Hockey right now. They were headed to Austin, Texas. Why? Because that's where distant cousins Jay, 10, and Jade, 13, lived. Kacey HATED visiting 어치, 제이 and Jade. Last time, Jade threw a slumber party. Kacey had snuck up in the vent and spied. Apparently, one of the girls caught her, and Jade went ballistic. Kacey had decided to stay outta Jade's way. Wally had another vision. 어치, 제이 was a total jerk. Every time they visited, 어치, 제이 would go on and on about his toys. Wally has broken one of Jay's toys every time they go. Wally didn't know what to break this time. The cat carriers laid on the floor of the car. Toby's carrier was 다음 to them. Kacey sighed.
"We're half way there!" shouted Mrs. Beetles. Wally groaned. That meant they had been driving through New Mexico for hours. Kacey decided to take a nap. Wally continued drawing. Lucas and Nikolas were still playing their games. Joey was still sleeping.

"Were here!" Wally cried. He shook Kacey awake. "Wake up, were' here!" Kacey sighed. She grabbed all three carriers and her back-pack of stuff and hopped out of the car. This wasn't the house that their cousins lived in. It was a farm. And on that farm was a big house. It was weird.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you." Kacey's Mom began. "The Smiths moved to a farm!" Everyone groaned. Soon, they were inside.
They had paired up to share the three guest rooms. The Moms would share one with Joey, Lucas and Nikolas would take one, and Kacey was forced to share with Wally. When they were unpacking their things, Wally pulled out a ton of trash from his back-pack.
"What should I do with this stuff?" Wally asked Kacey.
"Just defenestrate it." Kacey replied.
"Defene- what?" Wally asked.
"Defenestrate. It means to throw something out the window, nimrod." Kacey said. She pulled out some stuff from her back-pack and organized it on her side of the room. Wally just threw the trash out the window and put the rest of it on his side of the room. Kacey knew from this moment that this was gonna be a long month.
