Anastasia/Anya Hate?

kristenfan10109 Great video I really enjoyed I hope you guys will do one on Odette she seems like one that gets a lot of hate. I also think I can answer your question about when Anya started liking Dimitri and about their relationship it can be confusing to some but to me it reminds me of Belle and Beast relationship they didn't get along at first either and over time as she got to know him and who he really was she fell in love with him which is what I believe happend with these two. Yes at first they are rude to one another but that's what makes their relationship interesting here you have two individuals who two very different goals in mind but Dimitri is using Anya to get the reward money which in my opinion is very selfish when all Anya wants is to find her family that she believes is in Paris but in order to that she has to agree to become Anastasia so she knew what she was getting into right from the start but the one thing she won't stand is being told how to act, what to do and of course lying but as they continue their journey to Paris things start to change between them and when Anya starts to like Dimitri. As they heading on the ship to Paris as Anya was teaching Dimitri how to waltz I can personally see the two of them starting to like each other through Anya correcting/ finishing Dimitri's sentences (ex: "It looked nice on the hanger but it looks even better on you you should wear it", "I am wearing it") Dimitri's stuttering and Anya's facial expressions but it can also be argued that she was just having good time and the almost kiss especially when her eyes get so big when he leaves its like they are saying if you like me so much why didn't you kiss me? and it kind of shocks her. Heading into the nightmare scene this is one of the big ones where we see Dimitri's true feelings for Anya start to emerge the clear shock and concern for her when he finds out she is gone and is about to jump overboard to comforting her in his arms just shows how much he is starting to care for Anya especially in his facial expressions. Next we have the Paris holds the key to heart scene this one is pretty self explanatory the two of them having fun in the streets of Paris however this line sticks out to me sung by Dimitri "Paree holds the key to her past yes princess I've found you at last no more pretend you'll gone that's the end" now why would he sing that if wasn't starting to fall in love with Anya? or when Vladimir starts talking about how they've found the heir to the Russian throne his face becomes sad and depressed knowing her life will change dramatically once she's reunited with the Empress and they won't see each other anymore clearly his feelings for her have changed completely but it doesn't end there. After the ballet and trying to tell Anya the truth Dimitri decides to take matters into his own hands and make things right by taking the Empress to Anya's hotel room demanding that she sees her knowing it's the right thing to do but I believe it's mostly because he loves Anya which is why he doesn't take the money either especially in his dialogue with the Empress "You were the boy weren't you the servant boy that got us out you saved her life and mine then you restore her to me yet you want no reward", "Not anymore", "Why the change of mind", "It was more a change of heart" and truly has been for him just like it was for the Beast but instead of learning how to love he learned that they are things more important and precious than money they say money can't buy you happiness and for Dimitri I think this is especially true. As for Anya well you can clearly tell and so can her grandmother that she truly does love Dimitri despite that he had lied to her and she had grown to love him as well when she found out that he hadn't taken the money and had come back I think that really proved to her how much he loved her but also Dimitri proved it to himself. I also agree with you guys the ending is pretty dumb but maybe the writers wanted something different than a regular fairytale that instead of choosing to be a princess she chose to be a peasant with Dimitri who knows maybe she didn't want luxurious lifestyle either because what was more important to her was finding out who she was and her family but wasn't where she thought she belonged after all her Grandma her a choice so maybe there wasn't a way for Dimitri to become a Prince so her past chapter was finally closed and now she had a new beginning with Dimitri sorry for the long comment.
