The difficult thing about her is that she appears to have two personalities, the caring lover who sacrificed herself for a man and the cold 암캐, 암 캐 who likes playing with people's feelings because she's been hurt. Hercules was the first person Megara trusted. Also, she's not exactly what we call friendly and social... She claims that she doesn't need anyone, but she's just too scared that she'll get hurt.

She decided that the best thing to do was to follow the logic, if she tricked Hercules, she would be free. I know that at the end she followed her heart, but firstly, it's DISNEY, of course she would and secondly, people do crazy things when they're in love!

Perceiving: Meg is very flexible in my opinion. "I'm a damsel, I'm in distress, I can handle this." She is independent and isn't afraid of difficult circumstances, as long as she doesn't have to deal with emotions. She can easily adopt to new challenges and likes to decide for herself, she doesn't really need a hero. She loves being free and that's her main motivation to trick Hercules.
