Katniss is living in The Victor's Village and one 일 President Snow comes for a visit. He tells her about her spark and how she should fix it. Then he leaves. A few days 또는 weeks later, the reaping for the Quarter Quell starts. President Snow announces that it is the 3rd Quarter Quell and that the tributes will be reaped from the existing pool of victors. Wiress gets killed 의해 someone (I forget sorry) and Beetee keeps a wire thing with him. Eventually he tells the others his plan, and they set it up. After they turn it on, the remaining tributes are pulled up into a hovercraft. Some are taken to District 13, and some are taken to the Capitol. At the end, Gale tells Katniss that there is no District 12. (Sorry if I missed anything, I sorta forget, too.)
