i know it's long but all these dead ppl kept popping into my head & i didn't wanna leave them out .

This and Anya. I think it would have been to go on without an annoying little sister. They could have always just made a new friend instead.

The other's I thought were all essential parts of the show, but this was pointless.

anya's death was sad because she was just sliced in half =(
i would have picked spike but he died a hero .
i would have liked anya's death to have been more....loving and not so blunt , like she could have died in xanders arms while he told her that he loved her and he always would & that it was the biggest mistake of his life not marrying her .
or something along those lines .

Exactly, Nika. There was no reason to kill Anya off that way. All of the other things listed progressed the story lines and made sense, but Anya deserved a better ending than that, especially after all the crap Xander put her through. If they were going to kill her off, they could have at least devoted a little more time to her. It happened too quickly and it really didn't do justice to her character. And no one even seemed to care that she was dead except Andrew.

i didnt really see the point in this except to turn anya back into a demon and for everyone to hate xander again!!

the only good thing that came out of this was the episode "selfless"

i liked anya's death, she also died a hero, she died in battle after living for thousands of years....i can't say having xander looking for her and also dying wouldn't have been a bad thing but i do like the newer xander in the comics much better

they had to rewrite the entire history of Btvs, and she was annoying. That just sucks.

I know I should be saying Spike dying but then that was part of the story and also part of why I love him so much LOL!
But Anya dying that was just not nessasery and + it was sad!!! Poor Xander!!!!
PS Dawn re-writing the whole of the Scoobies' history and memories was just a bit annoying I agree!!!

i didn't like anya dieing i loved anya. But i didn't like when Tara died either cuz that was sad. But anya was awesome

i think anya's death did have a point

the point was not everything perfectly storylined out not everyone lives happily ever after but she did trying to make the world better she died for a cause and that was better than the life she lived up until she met the scoobies

I believe everything done has a point that advanced the story to give us the show we love and without one element the entire thing reads differently but the Xander and Anya break up only gave us a few things that, while I love, I could have lived without. The scene of Anya walking down alone in her wedding dress, the dope speech, and selfless all come out of it but I still would have given that up. I wasn't happy that Anya died. I loved her but I completely appericate her death.

As the brilliant Debs said, her death was her being a "stupid human". The entire point of her death is outlined in her conversation to Andrew while gathering medical supplies and that goes in direction contradiction to her thoughts in Graduation. Anya and Spike both needed to die to complete their heroes journey.

and to nika and elven, i think anya dying was sad, but good for the story line. and even though i hated spike dying, i'm starting to think it was also good for the story line. i mean, anya and spike were always the selfish ones, looking out for themselves and not caring about others. but in the end spike dies a hero, and anya while fighting in the battle. they were the right ones to die, even though both were sad.

It was so predictable. You could see it coming a mile away. Xander had all the signs of cold feet. I just wish that he'd proven us all wrong and stood up with her. I really think they were meant to be together and they should have been the one happy couple on the show.

anya dieing was so pointless and i hated that spike and anya slept 2 gva BUT even though my fave episodes are the dark willlow ones i whish tara didn't die however if joss wud have brought her bak willow killing warren wasn't worth it

I didn't mind the fact she died, it just happened so suddenly & quickly.
