Tough call between this one and Seeing Red. But yeah, this one is definitely the worst.

I can appreciate that you feel that way Deb. The official reason for ending it in that reality was that it might be a pleasant escape from the harsh reality that was season 6. So I can see and appreciate the art of it, it just makes me feel dirty or something.

Ok it's like this: The episode falters in and out of two realities; the reality that show had spent the last 6 years establishing, and a reality that is basically ours (i.e. normal) where all of the weird things that happened on the show were only in Buffy's head and she's clearly mental. The episode chooses to have it's very last scene be of the second reality (ours, and by doing that it felt like the writers were trying to establish that the true canon of the show was actually that Buffy's just some crazy girl living in a normal reality and doesn't know it. It sort of disregards the world that they have built and all of the characters live inside of. All because it's last shot is of her in that hospital. I probably didn't make any sense, but I tried.

i think that last shot is just maybe to get you think, is that a possibility. how do any of us know that we're not in a mental institution in a world where..... say computer don't exist, or tv and we're stuck in our world in our heads. That why i love it so much because it messes with your mind

i agree with nosemuffin. I liked the episode, but the end was sort of disrespectful to the heart/point of the series.

nosemuffin - I got what you meant, that's why I liked the ep so much though! That was one of the better ones in an extremely poor season in my opinion.

Really tough choice to choose a worst ep because I reckon I could've picked 19 different ones and given reasons for them all.

Wow, I'm surprised so many people hated Normal Again, I thought it was great! Creepy, cool idea that was well-carried-out.

So much attention to Dawn in "All the way", why? Second time i watched the series i just skipped it. However, Doublemeat Palace? That was a torture... I just can't stand see Buffy so helpless...

I like that it messes with your head, that you can go like 'ow wait, maybe she is just crazy'. Loved it!

In an already depressing season what do they do? dedicate an entire episode to kicking Buffy while she's down.

Ugh. Too much Dawn. I wish she would have just died.

Yeah it's like she wants to copy buffy or things like that.. but I dislike the whole spuffy thing, this season was the weirdest ever

I found myself bored with this episode. I didn't mind that it was centered more around Dawn than usual but the whole Dawn + vamps scenes seemed kinda dragged out.
Second worst would have to be Doublemeat Palace, that monster at the end was just yuck...
