This one I did in the wrong order, having read the novel before seeing the film. Thus I was very disappointed with the movie, as it seemed so inconsequential in comparison.

For those who haven't read the novel, most of the sequences in all three films come from the one novel.

I saw the movie then read the book. I liked both. I think it's a really interesting idea.

I love them both equally. They are my favorite books and movies. I try not to compare them. I had seen the movies way before i ever read the books. some of the best books i've ever read

i've never been one to read sci-fi, but i thought it was a good kids movie.

I saw the movie for the first time a few weeks ago... Not too bad. I'd read the book if I was bored enough.
