[Raijin's Past, the Haunting...]

(Raijin sat on his haunches; he had been doing the same thing, over and over again, since the Radical Gods had imprisoned him in the tiny, little cell, which had been already prepped when Raijin arrived there. The same thing was going through his mind, as he sat there, helpless, abandoned by everybody he thought he had counted as 'friends'. Renji was foremost on his mind, but Raijin knew that the man probably would have defended Raijin to the Head Captain, if Renji hadn't been killed. Raijin was also thinking about his childhood, or rather, time when he hadn't made the foolish decision of becoming a Shinigami. The time when he had free to do whatever he wanted, and, in turn, only had to suffer through fevered dreams and the feeling of being counted as 'crazy'.)

-Why is it that, when I actually decide to try and protect someone else, I always seem to get into more trouble than what I had originally bargained for? Why do I always try to keep from trouble, but it finds me? What did I do to deserve what I went through to get to where I am now and why is it that 'now' has gone wrong?-

(Raijin sighed and went to sleep. During the course of his resting pattern, Raijin rolled over countless times, groaning and sweating. Finally, after a few hours, Raijin woke up again, covered in a light film of sweat and rapid panting. He walked over to the only window, or rather bars, and looked out of the cell; all he could see, were a series of fluffy clouds, which were underneath and above the realm, in which he was imprisoned.)

'I guess I should try meditating and seeing if I can talk to Ajisukita...'

Raijin sat down and closed his eyes. The calm was much harder to achieve at such an altitude and Raijin felt himself breath slightly harder, just to concentrate his spiritual energy. Once his breath rate had calmed somewhat, Raijin began to fully relaxe and it wasn't long before he was facing Ajisukita, in his Inner World. His Inner World consisted of grey storm clouds, all shapes and sizes, which were normal, inverted and/or facing different angles. Lightning flashed casually around him, sometimes exploding into the hardened clay ground and setting old, branchless trees on fire.

'Hello, Raijin... I haven't seen, or talked to you properly in some time. You seem somewhat tense.'

Raijin blinked in a rageful confusion. 'WHAT??!! TENSE?! You bastard, what part did you play in this cruel torture?'

Ajisukita looked confused now. 'What do you mean, cruel torture? I didn't have anything to do with 'His' plan, He simply has more control over you than I do. In fact, I have no control over you and wouldn't want to, as I am your Zanpakuto. He and I are not related to another through power, he is the Thunder God and I am simply a poor representation of him, that shares none of his Godly powers, only his elemental ones. You see, if He dies, then his power over you, as well as his Manifestation powers, will die. But, if I die, then my power will completely vanish and I will no longer exist, even to you, Raijin.'

'So... I have to somehow kill a God? Are you kidding me?!'

Ajisukita shook his head. 'I have some things that I can teach you, but we'll have to do it over a certain length of time. You won't age, here, Raijin... This is your Inner World!'

Raijin nodded. Suddenly, he heard an audious clang and the lightning, thunder and Inner World disappeared and the prison cell returned, along with a large man, some called Ares.

'Here's your food. I don't know why you 'souls' have to 'eat', but A-kone wants us to leave you alone and alive for now... So count yourself lucky, Shinigami!' Then Ares slammed the cell door shut and strode from the room, in an nonchalant manner.

'Yuck...'

(Raijin thought back to his Rukongai days, where he had eaten even worse food. Once he had to eat a rat, which had stayed in his meagre, tiny room that he'd once used/rented when he hadn't lived in a prison cell in the God's Realm, or had an office while acting as a Shinigami.)

-Those were the days!-

You can make your own character for this Arc, if you like. Ulquiorra won't appear again until the next Arc of this thing, so it is fully up to you. If you do want to make a character, then Ii can help you make one, or something.

[New teammates? Mishiranu Rikuo and Toku Mujaki!]

The moment Renee entered the Senkaimon, she found herself inside the precipice world. She was at first shocked by this until she remembered that they didn't have a hell butterfly to guide them, meaning they had to go the long way. She looked around at her new companions who were waiting patiently for her.

Isamu: "Well, let's go, before the cleaner makes it's rounds."

Renee and the rest nodded. "Got it!"

???: "Well well...Soul Society is as predictable as ever I see."

Everyone turned sharply to see what appeared to be a dark shadow walking towards them. Isamu placed his hand on his sword and prepared for a fight. The figure seemed unperturbed and continued walking, as the figure neared they saw that it was a woman with short black hair and a slightly torn soul reaper uniform. She looked to be about 20 and was smiling pleasantly, but happy thought is not what this smile showed, it was a smile that said 'No point in trying, I've already won'. The figure stopped 5 feet from the group and looked at each one individually, staring at Isamu the longest.

???: "Well well well, You guys look like you could use some help."

Isamu: "Quit with the small talk and tell us who you are, or else!" Isamu drew his sword and pointed it at the woman.

Mishiranu: "Now now, no need for violence, not that I wouldn't like a good fight, but not now. My name is Mishiranu Rikuo and I'm only here to see the fighters that Soul Society sent.

Renee: "I'm afraid you're misinformed! We aren't working on Soul Society's orders."

Mishiranu: Mishiranu turned her head to Renee and looked her up and down. "Of course not. Soul Society is way out of their league with these opponents. Not that you guys are much better."

Isamu: "What are you here for! If you can't offer something useful then go away!"

Mishiranu: "Fine! You guys are new to your powers. What makes you think you stand a chance against gods? Most of you don't even know what your powers are." She then pointed at Isamu. "Although something tells me that you aren't too shabby with your powers already eh?"

Renee: "You talk as if you know everything about our powers?"

Mishiranu: "I know nothing of YOUR powers, but I have the same abilities you do, just with a little bit of a head start. So I suggest that we team up. What do you say?"

Isamu: "And take you by your word? Hell no! Give us some proof first."

Mishiranu looked at him for a second before turning a bit to the left and drawing her sword. She swung it once and returned it to it's sheath. It was a lazy swing that she obviously hadn't put much power into, but the force of the swing was still strong enough to make a few of the others take a step back. Mishiranu looked at them again before speaking. "Fine! I'll show you my powers, but first we seem to have a little spy buzzing around." Everyone looked confused until they saw what appeared to be a black cat sitting at the back of the group.

Renee: "What the-"

The cat stood up and started to glow, an instant later a soul reaper with the 4th squad badge was standing there with a grin.

Toku: "What's up guys?"

Renee: "And what the hell are you doing here?"

Toku: "Well the way I see it, I can either go with you guys and help out with the added bonus of fun, or I can stay in Soul Society and continue sweeping the 10th squad barracks..."

Mishiranu: "Well either way it's too late now." The next moment a huge reiatsu suddenly flared up. Everyone in the group's eyes widened in shock besides Isanu who's only reaction was to shift his sword. After what seemed to be a small nuclear explosion, the smoke cleared revealing Mishiranu now clad in a now complete soul reaper uniform with a large stone snake wrapped around each of her arms and legs. In her hand was a beautiful golden trident. She let the power fade and returned to the state they first saw her in. "Now that you've seen it, what do you think?"

Toku: "I think that I should have brought some sort of travel case or a bag at least."

Isamu looked at Toku then back at Mishiranu before sheathing his sword. Fine, but you better be serious about this, I won't tolerate any secrets! You tell us everything you know plus some!"

Mishiranu: "Fine by me, but it can wait, like you said earlier, we need to go before the cleaner gets here."

Nearby the squad one barracks the convoy of the Scola had been barricaded into a courtyard acting like a prison for the injured and hungry citizens of the kingdom of light. The warriors of light however remained outside of the barricade keeping any soul reapers from getting near.

Mil: Have they answered your request to allow you to meet with the head captain?

Kenshi: No. *he had deactivated his nova and now was in his new outfit* They've been stalling with delivering the message. I think there is something bothering them besides us.

Mira: I say we just start blowing things up until he comes out here.

Aion: *he laid on a bed half of his face covered by blood*NO!! They would just slaughter our people..

Val: They're going to slaughter us anyways! Ciel: As much as i hate to admit it i have to agree with the trigger happy monkey on this one.

Kenshi: You all stay here. I'm going to go find the Head captain.

Kanna: And how the hell do you expect to do that half blood filth?

Kenshi: Bankai.. *the reishi in the air around the soul society began to turn black leaving everything but the convoy unseen in a black mist* You all stay here in case they try to attack the convoy. Amy, you try and tend to Lord Aion's wounds.

shortly after saying that Kenshi flew off to the roof of the squad one barracks to blow a hole through the roofs where he descended onto Toshiro's chamber

Isaac grimaced as he strode through the crowd of people quickly, angry with himself. He wasn’t supposed to be continuing his shinigami activities. He told himself he wouldn’t be after taking his extended leave of absence from Squad 2 before deserting Soul Society altogether. He didn’t need to be concerned with hallows who didn’t attack him directly. It was reckless to get involved with meaningless fights, considering that he had been a fugitive for so many years without being caught. He’d like to keep it that way.
He told himself this, but fact remained fact. When he had felt the presence of a hallow approaching the humans in the crowd he was in, he instinctively started taking protective precautions. He’d released a small burst of his own spiritual pressure to tell the hallow that there was a shinigami in the vicinity, prompting it to hesitate. This hallow was evidently experienced, as instead of simply charging after Isaac, it kept its distance and began to follow him, slowly but surely. Isaac knew that he needed to get out of this big crowd or else he’d be putting countless lives at risk.

He kept his head cool as he kept his head low to avoid attention, his eyes surveying the area, looking for somewhere safe. There was nowhere outside where he could go without attracting attention that was safe. He had no chose but to take a risk.
He headed into the lobby of a large hotel, nearing walking right into the sliding doors as he rushed. He was relieved to see that nearly no one was inside the lobby. That meant they were all outside enjoying the weather. His judgment had a chance of being correct.

Isaac grimaced as he stepped into the elevator. He’d managed to get away from the normal people. The hallow didn’t seem particularly interested in them anymore, but he couldn’t take the risk without knowing what it was capable of, other than covert stalking.
Isaac pressed the button to head to the twenty-fourth floor, which was labeled “penthouse”. There would be little to no one there at this hour, and there would be enough room to fight.

Isaac was surprised, however, to see someone walk into the elevator right before the door closed. It was a girl with vivid red hair and hard, calculating green eyes. She was dressed like a normal person with a blouse and jeans, but her expression said different. She kept her back to the elevator door as it shut completely, watching Isaac calmly as they began to rise quickly through the floor. Isaac could feel the hallow’s presence taking evasive actions to chase after them.

“Are you going to choose which floor you’ll be getting off on?” Isaac motioned to the list of floors beside the door as they reached the tenth floor and the still woman hadn’t moved. It would be problematic if she got off with him.

“Your decision was nicely thought through.” The woman completely ignored his question. “Most idiots would have confronted it directly without provocation.”

“What are you talking about?” Isaac asked, now worried as they reached the twentieth floor. “But seriously, what floor are you getting off at?”

She didn’t respond. She continued to stare at him until they reached the twenty-fourth floor. But rather than get out as the door opened, the girl reached out and pressed the button for the roof, and the door shut again as they proceeded up.

“Wait a sec-!” Isaac objected. The woman grinned slightly.

“The gamble you’re taking is too big.” She explained softly, her amusement at her expression apparent. “A fight in a penthouse leaves less possible casualties, but there still isn’t enough room to fight this opponent. You’ll leave a mess and there’s still a chance of there being someone there.”

Isaac stared at her in shock. Could this girl be…a shinigami as well? The look in her eyes was certainly that of someone accustomed to danger, but there was no sense of duty in them. She seemed more like she was enjoying it, like some sort of game.
The worst sort of person.
When they reached the roof, she turned swiftly and headed right out into the sunlight. Isaac followed quickly, feeling that the situation was more in her hands than his own at this point. He took his headband from his pocket, wrapping it around his forehead. The inscription on the inside knocked him out of his body all the while, letting the gigai fall to the ground. The girl didn’t pay him any mind, affirming his suspicions that she wasn’t a human.

“This should do nicely.” She said as she surveyed the area quickly with her eyes. “Nice and open, no one around, and less things to break.”

She turned and looked at him. “You ready?”

“Aren’t you going to leave your gigai?” Isaac asked, conserned.

“No need.” She nodded past him. “Look, he’s already here.”

Isaac whirled around, putting a hand on his sword’s hilt at the same time. The hallow had climbed over the side of the building, glaring at the two of them with dark red eyes. Isaac was taken aback to see that this hallow’s face wasn’t simply a white mask. It was like a normal Caucasian’s face with a white face plate covering the eyes and forehead. The hallow’s body, however, was not a human’s. It was shaped like a praying mantis with scythes attached to its arms.

“An arrancar?” Isaac was taken by surprise, eyes widened. He thought that the spiritual pressure was murky, but not like this. It must have been a failed Arrancar that Aizen had released back into the wild long ago. It didn’t even seem to have the ability to speak, which meant it hadn’t even been Adjuchas level before transformation.

The red haired woman cocked a brow as he mentioned the word ‘Arrancar’.

“Is that what it’s called? I didn’t know there was a term.”

“Wha-” Isaac was once again taken aback. This girl didn’t know what an Arrancar was? Wasn’t she a shinigami? Or had she deserted Soul Society long before Aizen’s betrayal?

He couldn’t ask any of these questions. The failed Arrancar charged in just then, swinging its scythe-like arms in wide arcs. Isaac moved swiftly to intercept, blocking one scythe as he evaded the other, moving in close.

The fight didn’t last long. The scythe that Isaac blocked was cut off with an easy swipe of his sword, sending it flying to the side, smashing into the elevator they had come up in. The Arrancar screeched as it hopped back and charged a cero and fired at Isaac. Isaac crouched and swung his sword, cleaving the energy in two, and held one finger out.

“Bakudo 61, Rikujōkōrō!”

Six bars of light slammed into the Arrancar’s torso from all sides, immobilizing it. It squealed as Isaac walked up to it, holding his sword at the side of its neck.

“I pity you.” He said in a soft voice. “Outcast from your brethren after being subjected to change against your will, you had no others means of expressing your despair except for devouring innocent souls. It must be a terrible existence. In the name of the war goddess of the victorious, allow me to ease your pain.”

With that, he flicked his sword to the side before sheathing it. He turned and headed back toward the red head who was watching the Arrancar vanish into the air with a disappointed look.

“That’s it?” She moaned sadly. “How boring.”

Isaac drew his sword again quickly, pointing the tip at her neck.

“Who are you?” He demanded. “Are you the shinigami in charge of this region? If so, why didn’t you know what an Arrancar is?”

The redhead was completely unperturbed by the blade. She stared into his blue eyes with absolute composure.

“My name is Bluebell, by the way.” She said after a moment. “Bluebell Teach.”

“Answer my questions.”

“There are too many of them, some quite personal. But if you want to know who I am, that’s easy. I’m just like you?”

“What are you talking about?”

Bluebell pointed at Isaac’s headband, which had a small owl printed on it, then pointed to the chrome locket hanging around her neck.

“I’m a pseudo-shinigami.” She said seriously. Isaac’s eyes widened in shock. It was impossible. There was someone else who was like him?

“Did you come for me?” He demanded, his grip on his hilt tightening. Bluebell rolled her eyes.

“Don’t be stupid. I’m taking a gamble. My woman’s intuition tells me that something interesting is starting, and I’m following it. This was just on my way, and I wanted to kill some time. If you want, you can join me.”

“…Where exactly are you headed?” Isaac asked after a moment of thought. Bluebell, without looking away from him, raised her hand and pointed out toward the horizon.

“My intuition points me that way. If you want to know where that is specifically, you’ll have to come with me.”

Isaac grimaced. She was teasing him. But he had to admit, his curiosity was getting the best of him. Would his frustrating future change if he went with this gambling woman?

Espadademon4, I have a character for this Arc, that I made a while ago and I can't really use now... I was gonna use him as an NPC (no player control), but you could use him if you like. I will ask you to 'fan' Whiteflame55, frosttakahashi, Kevy1, Wantadog and SilverExorcist, as they will be your companions and on the same side as you.

Also, I would prefer it if you read through the Characters for the Clan War forum to see the character I was planning to use (page 1, Shishira [Zanpakuto] and Gaishima Shiretsu). It would also be great if you read through the last four or five pages of this forum to understand what has been happening recently.

However, there will no Captains appearing in thsi Arc (read through the description in 'New Characters For The Clan War' forum, so you understand what this Arc is about.

"My ears are burning", tends to mean someone's talking about you while you're nearby, was commenting on how it would be modified to work in text. Be happy to have Ripcore amongst the unradical gods, love to bounce some ideas back and forth, and that requires someone to do it with.

When I clicked on a link, it refused to open the page, but it only happened a few times for me. I just close the tab and reopen recently closed tabs and problem solved :D

It'll be one less NPC I'll have to make, and one more person to help control the group, both of which are things I will much appreciate.

If you want to do it that way, then that's fine with me... Since you two are both already controlling Knights, who are essentially affiliated with the Unradicals anyway, it would make it fairly easy to control. I'm going now, but I'll leave things in your hands, guys. XD

[The Initiation! Gods Vs. Gods?]

Odin and the others congregated in the Meeting Room, a large, spacious area, that overlooked an outside water fountain and the stars beyond. A-kone, Take and Ares each looked somewhat irritated, but Anubis seemed indifferent as usual. It was always Anubis that seemed to have the same, or similar personality traits to his own, flawed as they were.

A-kone stood up. 'I have an announcement for all of you, which concerns my brother, not Take... You see, Kaminari is deadly strong and has the same powers Take and I posess. In fact, he holds both powers we posess, which puts us at a disadvantage. I can't speak for the rest of you, especially you, Odin, and you, Anubis. However, I do have a plan, which I will enlighten with, shortly.'

-What is this about? A-kone never seems to be this concerned. Is he worried about something, or is Kaminari as strong as he says?-

'What are you really worried about? Between you, Take, me, Anubis and Ares, we should be able to wipe them out... Have you learned new information that could somehow compromise our objective?' Odin questioned the unopposed leader.

-He is only the leader, because he has the necessary motivation and none of us care to be the leader of this little band-

'I have learned of a new threat... The emrgence of a new God, who is intensely powerful. Her name is Themis and I have a nasty feeling that she and Shishira know each other. I can forsee her leading any attacks on us, if that is the case and we will need to be prepared, she really is extremely powerful. I will continue my interrogation of the Shinigami now... I want you four to discuss a plan, while I do this.'

-Meanwhile, In The Prison Cell-

Raijin looked up, as 'He' flung the cell door open. The Thunder God zipped over to Raijin and seized him around the throat. He teleported Raijin and himself away from the prison cell and into the Meeting Room.

'I am going to torture you, in front of the other Gods, until you tell me the information I wish to know. Who are the Shinigami with 'God-like' powers? Tell me!'

Raijin glared at him. 'Fuck you! I won't tell you anything, ever!'

A-kone flung Raijin away, sending him flying through the wall, back into the prison cell. 'Damn Shinigami scum! Next time, I'll teach you a lesson. I'll gove you three hours and if you don't tell me, I'll take away your powers.'

-Inside Raijin's Inner World-

'Raijin, he can't take your Shinigami powers, only your Thunder God mask... Don't let him get to you! Its time to begin your extra Bankai training, this will allow you to become much stronger if you fully embrace this power and discover my true emotions.'

Raijin grimaced in pain. 'Can't you just tell me? I'd really like to get out of there, if you don't mind me saying.

'I can't do that, Raijin. In order to achieve the power, you need to meet the requirements, which means that you HAVE to discover my true emotions/feelings directed at you. It won't be easy, but you'll be able to do it, because I believe in you.'

'Okay.'

-Back in Meeting Room-

Odin glanced at A-kone. 'You know, for a Shinigami, that guy has a lot of guts. You better keep him alive, just in case. Maybe we can use him to bargain with the Shinigami. I do recall threatening those cowards already, with Anubis flaying the life out of all of them... It wouldn't be such a bad idea.'

'I'll see...'

-You can be foolish, sometimes, A-kone... I forget how foolish younglings like him can be at times. I've lived much too long and my emotions have long since deserted me-

Kenshi was walking out of the squad one barracks to find his comrades all lounging about

Kenshi: What the hell are you guys doing! You were supposed to help set things up!

Aion: *he came out from a crowd looking fully recovered and cheerful* I told them to take a break.

Kenshi: *glares at Aion* Gah-! *he fell to his knees as he pulsed with miasma coming from his crown and from his body* What the?!

Voice in his head: You can't keep me in check forever little worm!! *laughs maniacally*

Kenshi tried to stand but the miasma formed a sphere around him trapping him inside

Mil: What the hell?! That miasma is dangerous! It can kill everyone here!

Val: I got this. *he began shooting at the sphere but they had no effect*

Aion: Back off. I can handle this.*the schola crown shined brightly as its light shot out and vaporized the miasma leaving an unconscious kenshi to fall to the ground

Kanna: Dammit Aion! We need to get rid of this hybrid filth! He's a danger to us all!

Aion: I won't aband-!

Rose: *puts a hand on his shoulder and stares him in the eyes* Lord Aion.. He needs to go..

Aion looked to the ground in disgust

Aion: Val. You BETTER not let anything happen to him wherever you send him. Val: No promises. *he picked kenshi up as Kanna opened a spacial rift to who knows where

~~~Inside Kenshi's inner world~~~

It was a large gorge covered in a dark fog obscuring even Kenshi's vision, all that was able to be seen was a burning lantern in the distance

Kenshi: W-what happened? Where's Hitaka? *he walked towards the lantern where he saw a black raven with red eyes staring at him

Kenshi: Who are you?

Raven: You don't know who i am?

Kenshi: I wouldn't have asked if i did.

Raven: Smart-ass. You are my worthy candidate to join the radicals.

Kenshi: The what?

Raven: Let me introduce myself. I am Amatsu.

Kenshi: And i should care why?

Raven: You are speaking to a god boy. Learn some manners.

Kenshi: What did you do with karasu?

Amatsu: Thats not important. Let me show you my power.

outside a black aura surrounded kenshi's body as Val held him

Kanna:What the hell?!

*the moon rose in the sky eclipsing the sun*

possessedKenshi: Put me down.*he broke Val's arm causing him to drop him* He then proceeded to fly up in the sky as Kenshi's armor came on him* but now more stronger and floating next to his back were three metallic jet engines powered by a black flame inside of them finally a helmet formed covering his head and making his eyes glow red*

as he came into the sight of everyone a loud screech came from Kenshi like the sound of a raven screeching*

Kenshi: This power..

AMatsu: come. *a black portal opened above them and they flew into it.

*the portal led kenshi into the realm of the gods where Odin and the rest were still conversing*
