Blair & Chuck Article: My thoughts on Dair... revisited

I know my last one of these was 게시됨 on the Gossip Girl 팬 page but I know there are a lot of Dair shippers there and I really don't feel like arguing with them about this. So to just save everyone some annoying fighting I'l just write here where hopefully most of 당신 will agree with what I have to say.
So just as a disclaimer I have not yet watched the most recent 2 episodes. Meaning the Valentines 일 one and the one after that. But I just cant bring myself to watch the Dair show. Gossip Girl is not the same show it was 2 또는 3 years 이전 and its becoming hard to watch. And yeah, I know it's kind of pathetic that I'm no longer watching just because of a fleeting romance between Dan and Blair but I cannot bring myself to watch it. I feel like the only reason why Dair is happening is because since everyone else has either dated 또는 hooked up they feel like Dair needs to happen too.
I find that totally ridiculous and sad. Since the beginning of the show I always would say that Dan and Blair getting together would NEVER happen because in reality, they don't make any sense. They're just too different. But I was proven wrong...
So yeah, back to Dair. What I don't understand is why Blair has suddenly developed feelings for Dan. I know I've missed 2 episodes but I just can't seem to understand how someone can go from thinking that someone is just their friend to suddenly being in 사랑 with them. And WHAT HAPPENED WITH CHUCK?? She admitted on her wedding 일 that she loved him and now she's all into Dan. That just pisses me off. I HATE watching Chuck be sad and depressed over Blair being with someone else. He's had to deal with it now for awhile and I think he doesn't deserve it anymore.
Hopefully this weird relationship won't last much longer. Because I will not watch this show until Dan and Blair are no longer together.

clairmxxx Gosh, I totally agree with you! & I also have not seen the 2 most recent shows^^ because like you I cannot bring myself to because of this Dair rubbish! It makes me sad and I do not understand it either! they seems to be getting more and more Dair fans and I hate it so I am glad I can come here where there are other Chair fans XD

laurik2007 I agree with everything ! why must they develop feelings when their friendship was just perfect the way it was! why they must pair up every gg character is beyond me and to do so they had to Bring Blair's character down! it's not fair, and poor poor Chuck! aww we are always here to support each other :D

Angelwriter You know, I totally agree with you. I was totally happy with them just being friends. And honestly, I wish I hadn't seen the last two episodes. I won't impart anything. It was kind of like me and watching towards the end of season 3 when Jack was still evil and knowing what was going to happen to Chair. There's like three episodes that I didn't watch. I still refuse to watch them even though I have season three on dvd. Anyway, I totally support you on this subject and more than likely, I'll probably stop watching again. There's no reason to until Dan and Blair aren't together. Keep the Chair love people! I recently checked the Dair page though and the Chair page still has 3 times more fans. That's right Laurik2007; we're always here to support each other :D

Angelwriter By the way, I have two chair stories I'm writing on fanfiction.net so if you want to read them, let me know and I'll send the link to you. Writing Chair fan fiction is basically what is getting me through this. It's what is giving me hope.

amshafe I myself haven't seen the 100th episode and all episodes after that. I knew that something was coming, but I honestly thought Blair would reject Dan and stop it before it ever came to them actually dating. I thought they would kiss or something and that's it. I was wrong, and I was shocked. But I realize now why: the normal Blair would never date Dan, ever. This Blair we see now is not the real Blair. So that's the only way this romance could happen and why I was shocked about this. I don't think Blair really loves Dan at all. I think she's using him for comfort and because he's easy basically, which is sad but that's what I think. Someone else, laurik2007, pointed out that this is like Season 2 Nair and I agree. This is only temporary and when Blair gets her spirit back it will be over. But still, I can't watch it. I cringe ever time I see Dan and Blair kiss, like it really disgusts me because it's just so wrong on so many levels.

Angelwriter wow! I never really about that but I could totally see this like nair in season 2. And I can totally see that she would be using him for comfort. Still that's not enough to get me to watch right now. I think I need a break from the show.

ratava123 Glad you all like my article. I never really thought about this Dair thing paralleling Nair. I can totally see that. Let's just hope this Dair thing is as short lived as Nair was. :/

Tigerlily888 I totally agree! I am very disappointed they got together as I liked their FRIENDSHIP like Serena and Chuck's! I find it annoying when shows can't just keep a man and woman as friends-for some reason they HAVE to hook up and although yes in a way I understand Dan's feelings for Blair. It kinda makes sense, what doesn't is her having REAL ones back to him. Okay so he's been there for her at every turn recently and she is just confused between friendship and love but her feelings I don't think should ever have been defined for him....to choose him over Chuck was criminal but I think she knows that she can't love him as much so she wants to use him so she won't get hurt again for a while like she can with Chuck because he is her one true love <3 and unlike all the other guys he can break her heart and it's been broken plenty of times every since that damn car crash!!!! CHAIR FORVER! <3

nateandjenny All i have to say is Dan should be with serena and chuck should be with clair and nate is best with jenny if she comes back.
