Why did the Cullens always wear white in the first movie?

The white doesn't make them look AS pale and it isn't contrsting with their skin as much. For instance if they wore black their "pale-ness" would be 더 많이 appearant/ dominate and make them stand out more. even though all of them wearing white makes them stand out a little. haha.
