I think they are both.Maybe Christpher Nolan wanted to make Batman's history less confusing.I also think that it would be rude on Batman's side that the first 4 영화 were showing him very dumb.

well they just want to make the detail of 배트맨 back story. in the movie "batman" there was a back story but it just a simple one. but now they want to make a real and detail story.
